It was midnight Prachi was sitting on her couch. She was a successful independent woman who is a lawyer and works in a firm. She was doing her work on her laptop with a cup full of coffee. Her eyes suddenly fell upon the picture near by. She picked the photo and a tear fell from her eye. It was her parents photo whom she lost three years ago in a car accident. Since that incident Prachi never celebrated any occasion not even her birthday and coincidently it was her birthday. Her friends called her to wish but Prachi refused the calls. Being tired and want to cheer herself she went to bed for a nap. The very next morning, she was having her breakfast and a sudden thought came to her mind. She called her Boss for a leave and then left for her friend Ridhi's house. Prachi asked her friend Ridhi to company her. The girls went to a bakery and asked for some freshly baked food items, then without wasting any time they left for an orphanage. The moment Prachi entered the room the children starting singing birthday songs. Prachi's eyes filled with tears and big smile one her face. She hugged the children and with the help of Ridhi she distributed all the food items. She played with the orphans. Ridhi was surprised to  saw her friend so happy. Both the friends spent their day with the children. Prachi even donated some amount to the orphanage. At the evening  they left, after seeking a bid good bye from the children. In the car both the friends were listening to music. Suddenly a question was raised by Ridhi-" why did you came to the orphanage. Prachi?
To this Prachi replied with a smiling face"Ridhi the day i lost my parents, I lost myself. Not a single day went I din't missed them. The day that incident happen was my birthday and as always my parents were going to the orphanage to give some happiness to the needy . And being a spoiled brat, I refused to company them. This morning a thought came to my mind that if my parents were alive they surely go to the orphanage and so being a daughter I did what my parents make happy no matter where they are and this made those orphans happy as well." After taking a pause Prachi added " You know what Ridhi, the happiness of a person is connected with others. If you want to be happy then you should give happiness to others and making others happy is the best gift you can give." And the music continues.
