Wake Up Sniper

Awake

Sniper steps into the room.

All the Mercs sat quietly around the conference table. Some had their heads down others just sat there with their arms crossed.

They seemed to be thinking to themselves.

Amongst the mercs there was one empty chair. Sniper slowly walked towards the chair trying not to disturb anyone.

He pulls out the chair and sits down next to Medic.

Sniper looks around the table then leans to Medic and asks,
"Oi, why is everyone jus' sittin' here?"

Medic looks up at him, "You're late."

A look of bewilderment spread across his face.
"Late for wot? I di'nt know there was a meeti--"

"It's not a meeting." Medic cuts him off.

Medic leaves Sniper even more confused than before.

"Then- Wots goin' on?"

Medic sighs. "You need to vake up now, Sniper."

"Wot? I am awake."

Medic sighs again and looks away putting his hand over his face.
Slowly removing his hand he looks back to Sniper and places his hand on his shoulder.
"You need to vake up now. Vake up, Sniper."

The room begins to shake violently.

Everything starts falling apart and debris falls from the crumbling ceiling.

Sniper hops out of the chair quickly.

"WHA-- WHATS HAPPENING?!! MEDIC!!"

He looks towards Medic.
Medic has no emotion.
He slowly places his index finger to his lips,
"SHhhhh... You need to vake up. Vake up, Sniper."

"STOP MEDIC! WE NEED TO GET OUTTA HERE!! WHY ARENT ANY OF YOU-!!"

He swiftly looks around the room. All the chairs are empty.

"SHhhhh...."

Sniper looks back at Medic.

"Medic?"

Medic smiles at him as he dissolves into nothing.

Sniper looks away and mumbles to himself, "Wake up.." Sniper puts his hand on his head.

"Vake up, Sniper.."

He hears Medics voice echo in the room.
Medics voice repeats again and again til' a loud snapping sound can be heard.

Sniper looks to the direction of the snapping sound.

As he looked up the ceiling collapses ontop of him.

Sniper opens his eyes and lifts his head.

He's still in the conference room.

"Oh good! You're avake!!"

Sniper turned his head quickly to Medic. "You've missed the vhole meeting! But don't vorry you didn't miss much."

Sniper looks around the room. Everyone's talking and laughing loudly.

"I've been trying to to vake you up for avhile but then I got lazy and told everyone to quiet down vhile you slept."

Sniper starts to laugh. "Thanks, Medic I appreciate it."
