In a world, far into the future a modern civilisation lays before the people of Tokyo. It's the year 3020, where everything is powered by electricity. There is barely anything from the past world, everything is much more mechanical and all of the city is made by handmade materials. Even the people are much different to before, meaning they are much more conservative and introverted. Despite Tokyo being an extremely large city, it still feels cold and empty most of the time. It's one of those cities that feels alive during the day but lonely and dead during the night. The thing with Tokyo is you either love it or hate, there is no in between. Most people come to visit Tokyo to experience the wonderful side of this place, but never the mysterious or truly interesting places. If you wander around the city for long enough you'll find yourself lost in how truly amazing some parts of Tokyo can be. If you look hard enough, you might get lucky enough to find parts of the real world that have been stowed away so we never discover them. But instead of working or trying to occupy my time by doing activities, I ponder about what the past world must have been like. Was it better? Or was it much worse? While researching about the past world I came across a website that caught my eye, discoverthepast.com. You might think it sounds fake but being the nosy person I am, I was intrigued to know more. I spent most of my time reading about how there were portals hidden around Tokyo which could take you back in time for a day. This wasn't exactly shocking to me since I knew there was more to this place than what meets the eye. I packed my bags and set off on my hoverboard in search of these mysterious portals. I quickly zoomed around the city hoping to find small clues or hints to where my destination lies. Suddenly, I came across a small note on the outskirts of the city. It stated "Those who seek, shall find". I quickly checked the note to see a key attached to the back, I held it tightly in my hand and continued my search.
