Have you ever heard the little story about how the moon loved the sun so much that he died every night for her to breathe? It's funny, my parents used to tell me that all the time. I never realized how much of a bearing that the moon actually had. In fact, until recently, I'd only thought of it as some cheesy character line from a movie or something until I  realized some of the craziness that went on when the moon finished it's rotation. Let me stop on my moon tangent for a second and actually introduce myself. After all, it's not a story without proper introduction. I'm Jade, and this is all about me and my friends. You'll see. Anyways. I'm 17, turning 18 in a few months. And literally, I'm one of the most average people you'll ever meet. I was born and raised in sleepy old Conneticut, with two brothers and my workaholic parents, Sarah and Rufus. I listen to indie pop and nothing else, and I eat, sleep, and breathe hot guys. It's just me, sorry in advance if I get a little boy crazy. But this past fall changed everything. Out of nowhere in my post graduation slump, I found myself the only one that didn't get accepted to any big colleges, which was weird, as my GPA is an exact 4.0. But a letter arrived at my home saying I had Been accepted to Bridgewater College for the Gifted. Now, of course I was going to accept (I was tired of living off of my parents weekly allowance of $150 and a still ridiculously early curfew), but I had never even heard of the place. It was exciting and adventurous. And so, like every teenage girl in these types of stories, I got up and went. Randomly. And there, ladies and gentlemen, in the middle of some random town at a college campus on the edge of the woods, is where I became me. The real me. I'm Jade Hart, and I am a hybrid.
