Chapter 51 (Wedding)

The chatting and laughing fills the air, as Mr Wang and Mr Xiao very quickly get acquainted. They are often in their world, talking about new projects and business deals, many ideas were pregnanted especially on such a happy occasion. Each of them wanted the best for their children, so they conjured that joint businesses would be the best for them. Both the older ladies were chatting sweetly, Ms Ding is always the active listener and for once Mrs Xiao found someone that listen about her stories and new found weird ways attentively. She is like having her own therapy session with Ms Ding, outpouring all her creative extravagant ideas for her only son wedding. Ms Ding would take notes like a secretary which she really enjoys it. Ms Ding loves servicing people, the joy in her heart can be exploding when she finds that purpose working. The four younger lovesick people were busy chatting and Zhan shows them their estate. The night went on smoothly but only when they were having some serious discussion at times, they were some light demands from Mrs Xiao

She wanted them to move into their home estate of thirty over rooms mansion, with adequate servants to take care of their needs. She sees this as her being hospitable and will not take "NO" as an answer. She citing that she wanted to get to know Yibo properly as a main reason but she really wanted to be near her only son and easily forget to tell them that that was secondary. Her requested was accepted promptly by Mr Wang who would think it is rude to refuse but actually it gives him more time to formalise some business action with Mr Xiao.

Day went on beautifully and successfully. The Wangs were having great time exploring Beijing lead by the feisty Mrs Xiao and her security team. Zhan always marvelled at his mother organisation, everything were planned to the dot, every inconveniences were solved with a snap. The tour were enjoyable plus comfortable. The relationships between the Wang and Xiao were superb. However, some serious dates then needed to be set for their grand wedding. It was then decided that it will be hold in America in 10 days time.

"Mum, will it be too rush" Zhan asks with a grape in his mouth during dinning time

"It will be fine, we have our resources in America too, of course you are not aware, we have expanded and brought some hotels a few years ago just to test the market, along with some apartments blocks too" Mrs Xiao told them

"Ok, you didn't tell me and let me stay in one of them when I was there for 3 weeks" Zhan protests

"Dear, you wanted, no, you craved for independent, remembered?" Mrs Xiao reminded sweetly never lost her composed anymore, once is too many for her in her life.

"Oh" Zhan whines and lean onto Yibo and pop a grape into his mouth.

Looking at their lovey dovey actions, Mrs Xiao told them

"I will do the minimum if it is alright with Mr Wang" Mrs Xiao politely asks for permission but Mr Xiao faked a cough, he knows his wife

"3 days celebration, will it be alright" Mrs Xiao enquire with a slight pressure

"Mum!!!!" Zhan scream petulantly

"It is already minimium dear, your dad and I had a week of celebration" Mr Xiao smiles proudly

Zhan winks at his dad and tease

"How did you survive dad?" Zhan giggles

"Almost dead" Mr Xiao giggle back

A slap on the arms of father and son to shut them up.

SO, it was agreed, the first day will be at a hotel where it was on "Common ground" not any of the hotel owns by each family but a luxurious resort off the island and Mrs Xiao has every intention to scout it out for acquisition secretly. Second day will be hosts by the Wang at their prestigious hotels and third day by the Xiaos at their purchased hotel.
