(This poem is in collaboration with my daughter, Isay)
Loving you is a luxury,
To be with you, I'll always be in a hurry,
You're an art, stunningly contemporary,
Is this love or obsession disguised as idolatry?
Rivalry is a field I've never encounter,
Meeting you, I'd known no surrender,
Rational thoughts went astray; I lost willpower,
The love I have only known to tower.
Over time, challenges seem to weaken,
The emotions you mirror, I cannot be mistaken,
You speak ill, cursed me godforsaken,
Yet none of it matters since you're a desire forbidden.
