[Caring Fire] Female Cinderace x Male Lucario

Chapter 9

Lucario's POV:

I stare at her in surprise as a blush rises on my cheeks.

She begins to look at me with a worried expression.

Before i could reply, she interrupts me.

Cinderace: "I-Im sorry! I'll just go!" She yells to me as she gets up.

Lucario: "Wait!" But it was too late, she already began running.

I quickly get up and chase after her. I start to grow a little worried as i focus my attention on her.

She runs through another part of the forest. I run to it and push aside a bush to get in.

Finally, i reach to some part of the forest leaving a me a little drained.

I pant and look around.

Lucario: "Cinderace? where are you?" I call out.

No response. I walk further into the forest until i meet an interesting image.

An ocean is seen far away into the distance as a sunset appears in the sky.

As i take a closer look to the tree, i see cinderace laying by it.

I watch in silence across from her hoping she does not notice me.

I walk closer towards her and i speak.

Lucario: "Cinderace?"

She immediately turns her head to me with a deep red blush.

Cinderace: "L-Lucario? how did you find me?"

Lucario: "The real question is, why did you leave?" I sat by her and look at her.

She holds her ears and looks away with an embarrassed expression.

Cinderace: "...J-Just go..''

Lucario: "Cinderace-''

Cinderace: "Leave me alone...''

Lucario: "Let me spea-''

Cinderace: "You probably hate me now.''

I immediately scoot closer to her and lay my paw onto hers.

She looks at me with a blush as her eyes grow wide.

Lucario: "I would never hate you. And....'' I say to her.

I inch even closer to her with a blush on my cheeks.

Lucario: "I love you too.'' I smile warmly at her.

She stares at me with a surprised look, but soon gives me back a smile.

We then inch closer together, with our faces almost touching.

The warmth of her body blazes against mine as we close our eyes.

We slowly kiss eachother. But not just a simple kiss.. a long and passionate kiss.

Soon, we separate. Leaving nothing but blush on our faces.

We both gaze into eachothers eyes. Her sparking orange eyes meets my red eyes.

Cinderace: "I love you, dummy~''

Lucario: "Heh, i love you too.'' I say to her as we hug, wrapping our arms around eachother.

We turn to look to the bright beautiful sunset.

Suddenly she looks back at me once again and speaks.

Cinderace: "You know, its funny how all of this started because of a berry.'' She chuckles.

This catches my attention.

Lucario: "Oh! I forgot something to give you.'' I quickly get up and walk towards a bush.

I grab something out of the bush and i walk back to cinderace.

As i lift it up and show it to her, her eyes widen.

Cinderace: "Wait a minute, isn't that the giant berry from when we met?"

Lucario: "Yep. I found it under some rocks in a lake on my way here.'' 

Cinderace: "...Is...it for me?"

Lucario: "Of course. You probably needed it more than me anyway.'' I sit back by the tree and i hand it to her.

She hesitates at first, but then slowly takes it from me. She looks up at me and smiles.

Cinderace: "Aww.. Lets share it together.'' She says as she gives it to me.

I look at her in surprise. I feel a smile growing on my face.

Lucario: "Sure.''

I take a bite out of the berry. Then i give it back to her.

We eat the berry together and watch the sunset.
