". . . I trust you."
He trusts me?
"Ackkk," I gasped dramatically, feigning a fainting act, and clutched my shirt where my heart was for an extra effect.
Kiyoomi's brain cells must be full of my quirks, although I couldn't see his face, he was already cursing me inside his head.
Then, as if on cue, I sat up straight, my face was devoid of emotions.
"I don't know what kind of smoke you're inhaling, but, you expecting me to believe that?"
He was unfazed. "I see," he uttered, "that didn't work out, huh? After the research I made. Tch, rude." Then he annoyingly clasped his arms under his chest, leisurely reclining his back on the couch.
I chuckled mentally while shaking my head.
Research?
He did his research about that? It only showed how much he sucked at creating emotional understanding.
I don't really know . . . But I suddenly felt frustrated for a moment.
"That's all, Omi-kun?" I sneered at him after. "Are you really giving your all to convince me?"
"Hmph," he huffed arrogantly, "provoking me now? You must like to be convinced, huh?"
I frowned, "Duh? No. I just want ya to know that it's impossible to convince me."
The glabella on Kiyoomi's forehead darkened a little. Was it an annoyance, or dislike, or fear that things might not go on his way? He looked at me, his eyes staying on me for a long instance. He did not reply at first, yet once he seemed to feel an urge to press his case, he said finally:
"Let's have a deal."
The probe of his analytical eye was something I particularly am wary of.
But it kinda pleased me as well. He was willing to make a deal with me, thus it showed how much resolve he had to consider this matter.
That's actually new.
I heaved a breath defeatedly. "Lemme hear it then, Kiyoomi Sakusa-san."
Well, it would all depend on the content of his deal whether if I agree or not.
Kiyoomi inhaled, prepared to convey his statement. Before he did so, I shushed him off.
"Wait, wait, wait, Kiyoomi-kun–" I pulled my phone out– "For a keepsake, I will record our conversation."
"This is not a kind of hearing, per se." He was questionably gazing at me.
"I know, okay?" After setting my device to record mode, I placed it on the table. "Just to make sure, I might use it if an ugly circumstance happened."
I would be the one who was in trouble if ever. Since I was already in legal age, whilst he was in minority, the legal responsibility was mine.
As it should be, I would decline the deal he was of. But yes, of course, I wanted to hear him talk.
"First," he started, "the advantage if I li—" and stopped right away. And after a sigh, "I reside under the same roof with you."
"Pfffttt—!" I couldn't help but laugh!
He sounded so cute, though! The way he was careful, but awkward in a way, changing his terms was just priceless.
"Kiyooomiiiii!" Holding my tummy, tears forming in my eyes, I laughed with lungs and throat. "Aren't you adorableeeee. Are you not going to say that you'll live with me?"
