Y/n woke up and looked out the window. The sun was shining and it was quiet.

She slept well surprisingly. That's another good thing about Tulsa. New York was never quiet and she always slept horribly. As the pros list got bigger and the cons list got shorter,
Y/n began to think that the move wasn't such a bad idea.

Y/n turned around and saw that her box of stuff was there. She open it to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Clothes? Check. Record player? Check. Books? Check.

She put on a pair of blue skinny jeans and a red button up shirt that she liked to roll up the sleeves of.

Y/n walked downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast. "Im gonna go find Dally," she said to her dad, who was unpacking a box.

He doesn't argue but says "be home by 6 for dinner" and continues unpacking.

Y/n walked down the street and turned a few corners. She finally came to a road where a DX gas station stood. As she got closer to it, she could see 6 guys standing around a gas pump.

They fit the description that Dally
gave of his gang when he was last in New York. She scanned through their faces quickly but Dally didn't seem to be with them.

"Come on Soda, come to the drive-in" said a boy with a mickey mouse t-shirt on.

"No Two-Bit, I promised Sandy that I would take her to the Dingo later" the guy called Soda responded before noticing y/n. "Can I help you, ma'am?"

The whole gang turned and looked at her. "Oh, uh I'm Y/n. Y/n Winston," she replied.

"Hey do you know Dally Winston?" said a boy beside her.

Y/n turned to look at him and damn, was he gorgeous and he looked about her age. He had greenish-grey eyes that she coulda got lost in and kinda auburn hair.

"uhhhh yeah he's my cousin, ya know him?" she asked.

Y/n noticed that when she turned to face him he started blushing and replied "Yeah he's in our gang. He just went down to the store down there," he pointed down the far end of the street.

"Thanks," she smiled and walked in the direction he pointed. "Nice to meet y'all,"

As y/n walked, her stomach did flips, no somersaults and started smiling like an idiot when she heard one of the guys in the gang say "Alright Ponyboy we won't tell Dally that you have a thing for his Kid Cousin".

She giggled and then the guy who she now knew as Ponyboy responded with "Shut up Steve, she can still hear you."
