You gasped, and tumbling backward in the progress. The hallway of admin was painted in a horrendously beautiful colour of crimson. The red colour from one corner of screen was thick, it was mixture of glistening bright red wine and gooey particles with a darker shade of moist and fresh blood amongst it. Your stomach churned from the unsightful scene displaying on the screen.

Her bright colour suit that carried the shade of a sunny day was damped in orange smears, some brighter red patches scattered at specific areas. She laid on her stomach, head was facing towards the hallway as her helmet broke into a dark hole came from the back of it, it bent inwards. The glass of her helmet laid around, shiny like jewelry while complementing the spikey shard of red spilled almost in a slow motion around her. Her arms reached out for help but clearly no one came. Even if someone did come to aid, it was already too late. The body was as still as the night, soul quieter than a mouse. If only someone had heard her last prayer, her last word.

Under both of her wrists was a puddle of blood, it was seeping into the suit that you could see the yellow colour on her gloves shaded the orange colour. Her main veins were slitted, the monstrous murderer seemed to have a crazy wild lust for blood. Somewhere at the back laid smaller chunks of fleshes and tissues, almost small enough to be bite size. The tender meat was roughly discarded around, in the manner of showing off the killer's proud prey from a hunt.

The nauseous feeling swirled in your head making you swayed, limbs heavy by your side. The ground you were standing on suddenly became a sandpit, swallowing you. Something with the colour red swiftly moved in front you, a scream escaped your lips when a hand was brought up to your mouth. The other came up to your eyes and took away your vision.

“I'm sorry that you had to see that...” the voice whispered. His bulky gloved hand but it did less than nothing to cover the wide glass screen on your helmet. Silent hot tears rolling off your cheeks, a thick taste of salt stung at the back of your throat.

A dash of blue, purple and orange came across the screen before it turned black. Red pressed something. A click followed by and no light was emitting past his fingers. He turned it off then himself to face you. Arms embraced you to provide any comfort he could give you. You didn't fight back nor flinched at the sudden action.

Yellow was dead and your heart clenched at that. A body splitted in half was the animation shown to players but little did anyone know the horrendous scene played out before you. The tremendous fear was the wild fire that was once sparks of amber. It was frozen cold, paralysed you from moving and caged you. A choke escaped your lips.

“They'll call the emergency meeting now and we'll catch the one that did that to Yellow,” he shushed you, hands moved around to remove your helmet. The suffocating protection was taken off and you sniffed back another tear but failed. You buried yourself into his arms as his gloved fingers went through your hair.

“I'm scared... Yellow she-” you bit back the choke, “I'm really really scared. I wanna wake up- Please wake me up Red. I don't want to dream anymore. Please...”

“I can't... I'm sorry that you have to be scared,” he whispered in-between your sniffs. Red settled down onto the floor, back against the cold wall of security. You curled in, your knees had given out and you didn't even realized that.

“Please don't cry it breaks my heart...” he slowly rocked your body, the other hand moved to remove the hair your tangled in your face. Although all your eyes were closed tightly to block out the image but your throbbing mind wasn't off. Flashes played in front of you, an image of Yellow so close to you. Her helmet was plunged outward, face was pierced to the point you couldn't recognised it was her. Eyes hollowed out, dried tissues and hot blood spilling instead of tears.

Her face that you had never got the chance to have a proper look at was forever gone, you never got to see what colour her hair was. What her eyes colour was, how gentle her face was when she mentioned the crewmates. You would never to get to see her again.

Red's voice was quiet, low as he tried to sooth you, “Get some rest. Your head is working too hard after the concussion already. Maybe we shouldn't have gone to security afterall. It's my fault. I'm sorry...”

The suppressed fear that had been lurking around in the background had finally exhausted you out. You was knocked out by fear and your eyelids felt heavy. Eyes were dried from the tears you shed, your ears were blurry as your head pounded rhythmically. However, you thought you heard something before the sleep monster once again pulled you into the darkness.

Something that someone said along the line of...

“Y/n please…”

You frowned subconsciously in your sleep. It had been sometime since someone last called you by your name. Why was someone calling you? Did someone on the ship know you?
