"Kyanma!" You called, peeking from the door.
Your husband hummed, with his cellphone between his hands, face scrunched due to the difficulty of his game. He just woke up, yes, but he said he needed to clear this specific level from his beloved video game, and you were left with no choice but to let him. His breakfast, together with your baby's meal, were all prepared on the table.
"I'm going to the daycare center today," You jumped happily, catching Kenma off guard as you gave him a peck on his fluffy cheeks.
He blushed, hiding his face with a pillow. "O-Okay..."
You pouted. "Won't you ask me what time I'll be getting back?"
"You usually come home by 5," he explained, not averting his eyes from the digital box he's holding. "But when some parents are late on fetching their kids, you usually come by 6 or 7."
You slowly smiled, pinching his cheeks playfully. "Yieeee, how sweet of you to remember my schedule!"
"It's normal," he whispered. "I'm your husband and I love you, that's why."
You were stunned for a bit, cheeks getting warmer.
He's not the usual type of romantic guy you see in movies, but he's the type of guy who can catch you off guard by just mere words. He said it so casually but it made your heart skip a beat and even though you're with him for more than three years, with your firstborn at the age of two, you never get used to it.
You're in love with this feeling, and even though you knew he's not the showy type, Kenma already proved how pure and sincere he is to you. Before he could even tease you when he noticed the crimson blush on your face, you gave him a soft smack on the shoulders, making him chuckle.
