"Now he'll know I'm okay. I wrote everything down that he needs to know--the only things I excluded were where we are and who all knows about this place. I told him that you don't know about it, and met me in a forest. I'm going to line up a day to come out and meet you guys. Sam will probably make sure these two rugrats don't burn down the base." Zak laughs and nods. I stop him before he opens the door to head out his specific secret entrance. He gives me a confused look and I hug him. I hear a small gasp before he hugs back. "Stay safe Zak. Tell Darryl that I said 'Hi.'" Zak nods and takes his leave.

I exit into the corridors, looking for the tall boy I was to show around. I head back to the kitchen to find him and Wilbur talking. "Okay, Toms. Ready for your tour?" I watch his eyes widen and he nods his head quickly. He practically runs over to my side and grabs my hand.

After our long and exhausting tour, Sam returns. "Hello everyone!! I stocked up on extra items since we have another person that can eat here." I smile and hug him in greeting. He gives a loud laugh and spins me around. "Hello, bestie!! I heard word about your uhm....thing that you did." I nod and gesture for him not to continue. "We're going to talk about it later." I nod in agreement.

"There's pre-made breakfast for you if you want any. I think I'm gonna do that thing tomorrow, so could you make sure that these two don't burn down the place and don't follow me?" Sam gives me a nod and we all head to the large living room. I plop onto the couch and let out a sigh. Even though I hadn't done much, I was still exhausted.

I decided to get up and go ahead and go to sleep. "Okay, I'm retiring for the night."

"Not yet." I turn to Sam and sigh.

"How about after I do the thing tomorrow?" He nods and I smile. "Alrighty, goodnight everyone." I hear a chorus of goodnights, and continue my way to my room. I lock my door behind me and turn to my pet fox. She sits expectantly on my bed, almost like she knew I was wanting cuddles. I smile. "Hello, Birch. It's wonderful to see you again." She makes little happy noises, and I hand her some sweet berries.

I sit down on my bed and Birch curls up in my lap, still munching on her berries. I smile and stroke her fur. I let out a sigh and stare at the wall next to me. I feel my mind wandering off, thinking about nothing and everything at the same time. I'm brought back down to Earth by Birch messing with my hand. I let out a gasp before giving her a soft smile and petting her once more. I let myself fall back onto my bed and sigh again. It was weird to feel so exhausted, but I was tired enough to pass out at any given second. As I'm thinking about it, my eyes start to feel heavier and I give into sleep.

When I'm awoken, I notice that my clothing had already been set out for me and that Birch was not in my room. I stretch before walking over to the clothing items. I smile when I notice that it's the clothing I normally wear underneath my armor. I immediately know who the culprit of this was and smile. Wilbur must've come in here sometime later or earlier. I change into the clothing and leave my room.

At the bottom of the stairs, I'm greeted by an ecstatic Birch. I smile and scoop up my pet fox. "Where dID THE FOX GO GHOSTBUR??!?!" I stifle a laugh and back into the shadows and gesture for Birch to be silent. She seems to understand, and our prank begins. "No Ghostbur, yOU WERE THE LAST ONE WITH THE DANG FOX!!!! I swear if he let it back in her room before I get to play with it--"

"Boo." Tommy jumps back a mile and screeches. I crumble onto the floor with laughter and hear Tommy protesting and trying to insult me. I notice Sam creeping up behind him as well and only laugh harder for the events that are about to unfold.

"Tommy you're being too lou--" he's cut short by Tommy's second round of screeches and I only laugh even harder.

"S-Sam!! I can't........b-breATHE!!!" I feel tears rolling down my face as I laugh, and feel myself being picked up. I feel head pats and start to calm down a bit. I sink into the person's arms with a brief sigh. The person lifts my head and wipes my tears. Upon noticing who it is, I smile widely. "Hello, Wilbur. Could you please sit me down?" After I ask, my feet are touching the ground once more. I smile and chuckle a little more at Tommy's distraught face. "That's my cue to finish getting ready to head out." Tommy and Wilbur nod and Sam follows closely behind.

"You promised you'd tell me about--"

"I said after I get back. Sam, I'll tell you--be more patient." He sighs but nods. I smile at him and continue.

"At least explain to me why Zak was the one you decided to give that book to--or let me help you get ready while you tell me." I sigh but nod. We make our way to my armory, and when arriving I click a button that reveals my armor. As Sam helps me into the netherite armor, I explain the book to him.

"Listen to me, okay? Zak had come to visit and told me about Clay's tantrums. I then decided to try and calm him down a bit by letting Zak deliver a personal note to him. Besides, maybe he'll calm down after this meeting. If I need anything, I'll radio you guys here." Sam nods and finishes my armor. "Alright, that's my cue to leave. I'll see you later Sam." He nods and I sling my backpack over my shoulder. I wave before heading out of my exit.

I take in a huge breath of fresh air before walking onwards. From the distance, I can hear some screams. I pick up my pace from a slow walk to a sonic run. When I come to a halt, I find Niki and Clay--both hadn't noticed me. I take a breath in to ready myself for the events that are soon to unfold.

    "Hello, Clay."
