Chapter 5: I'm Getting Nerfed?

"Looks like I win this round", Satsuki said with a smirk.

"Well, you are more skilled than me at this sort of thing", Dante said.

"Hmm, yeah I know, but you aren't too bad...dad", Satsuki says in a mocking tone.

"Oh, starting to get use to the idea of us being your par-", Dante says before dodging out of the way.

"Don't be distracted and allow your opponent to trick you into letting your guard down. Again"

"Jeez, so serious, alright princess."

Dante and Satsuki continue to have bouts for another hour, with Dante only managing to win one.

"Damn, well I guess I can't be good at everything."

"Don't worry about it Dante, you just need practice, and I will give you all the practice you need."

"Alright. So where are you going?"

"To my mother's."

"Your mother's! Isn't that a bit risky for you and I know what she does to you when she's there...It's fucking disgusting."

"Trust me, I know. But don't worry, she won't be there tonight so I should be good."

"I swear when I get my hands on that perverted old lady, I'm going to hang her by her own damn entrails for what she's done to my baby girl", Echidna angerly declares. This causes Satsuki to blush a deep shade of red as she has a look of embarrassment on her face.

"E-E-ECHIDNA", Satsuki said stuttering.

"Ah, ah, ah...what did I say to call me?"

"...ughh...mom."

"There we go", Echidna said in a cheerful voice.

"This is so embarrassing", Satsuki said with her hand on her head as Echidna used Dante's body to hug Satsuki. Satsuki, however, didn't resist the hug and rather enjoyed it. Echidna eventually broke off the hug and Satsuki pouted a little before going back to her resting bitch face.

"Alright, I should go get my bullshit power-up before it gets too late. Goodnight mom and...dad", Satsuki says before walking off with a smile. Dante and Echidna just watch in glee as Satsuki leaves and then head to their room to prepare for the trip.

"We make such good parents, don't we", Dante asks mentally.

"I make a good parent, you're more of the irresponsible one", Echidna says mentally while giggling.

"Haha, yeah, yeah. But still, even though we aren't her real parents, she definitely sees us as them."

"Yeah, it makes me want to have children of our own."

"Yeah, but you do know that there are extreme dangers in our world and plus, when we become immortal, we'll probably outlive them."

"Yeah, but we could always visit them in the afterlife."

"This is true, but only if God allows it."

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

"Well, here we are. Time to go to bed, also, I'm sure you know of my new ultimate move I'm going to use on Matoi tomorrow."

"HAHAHA! Y-Yeah...It's just...HAHAHAHAHA!"

Echidna laughed for a few more minutes before quieting down. Dante then got into bed and entered his mindscape, where him and Echidna got into bed together. Meanwhile, Ryūko finally made it back to the Mankanshoku residence while they were having dinner. During her walk she had time to think to herself and she resolved herself to her cause. After all, if she fell here, then her father would never be avenged, and she will be left to wander unfulfilled and unsatisfied. The entire family stopped to look at Ryūko, in which Mako and the boys jumped onto her.
