"Then I got bucked off... but I galloped!! I usually only ever canter!!" Atlas said with excitement. "And it's crazy because- Y/n, you there?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm here."

"Great, so anyway-"

I zoned back out. I appreciated it that I was their backup-go-to-person when it came to horseback, but they seem to forget that I have no idea what they're talking about. They couldn't talk to Michelle because she was grounded. We all know that the two of them get along better than I do with either of them, but I've accepted that. I'm the side character in my own life, but I've accepted that too.

Atlas is a hippie. They're always open to new things. Their pockets were never empty, always carrying crystals and small rocks. They had a farm, their favorite animal being an old chicken named Scrap. Well, their favorite besides their horse that is. He was a huge horse, almost 17 hands. He was a brown and white paint, that's why they named him Picasso. Atlas was small and slim. They had a short brown hairdo with the sides buzzed off. They wore big, circular, gold glasses which they had to swap out for contacts while riding. They were the epitome of androgyny. Sometimes I wished I could look like them, then I remember that I am in fact a straight cis female, so attracting men would be a little difficult. Atlas has no problems with men though, because they only like girls and other enbies. They're dating Michelle. No surprise there.

We were riding back home from school in Michelle's mom's car. We had to drop Atlas and Michelle off at the barn, so I guess I should say I was riding home in Michelle's mom's car. We weren't to the barn yet though. We were blasting TikTok songs and popular music. This would be really fun if I didn't listen to 2000's emo music.

"From the top, make it drop, that's some wet a-"

Her mom quickly turned off the music. "How many times have I told you to stop listening to this song?"

Michelle turned around in her seat and whispered "This is why you're lucky you're a goth." She giggled. Not even close. I was an e-girl, borderline emo. No way in hell I had the money or confidence to be a trad goth.

"Ehh, emo music isn't much better." I said through sighs as I turned up my air pods. I was listening to Everywhere I Go by Hollywood Undead. Like I said, emo music is defiantly not cleaner.

"Michelle..." Atlas said, giving her a specific look that I didn't understand but somehow she got.

"Mom, I know I'm grounded but there is a show-"

That's when I zoned out. I started daydreaming about what I'm gonna go when I get home. I got a notification. Tommy's live. I clicked on the app and was focused on the 6'3 British boy on my screen until something caught my attention.

"It's in England, it will be a great family trip. Hey, maybe y/n will want to come! Isn't that where Timmy is from?"

"Tommy," I corrected. "I mean, yeah but that's a whole country. Nothing exciting like that happens to me anyway. I would love to go though, I haven't come to one of your shows in a while."

I would love to go watch my two best friends do something amazing and productive as I search for wifi so I can watch British boys curse at each other over a block game. Sound's spectacular.
