You were a foreign exchange student from the United States. Applying to all sorts of hero academies. You wanted more than anything to be a hero. It was a dream you had since you were a kid. You possessed a powerful quirk. You were able to manipulate space, so long as it was in your line of sight. You weren't too sure how to use it when it had first appeared, only looked at the blue glowing orb that appeared in your palm at age 4.
As you got older, you learned you could do many things with your quirk. For instance, opening up a warp gate by controlling the space. For now, that's the most you knew how to do. It was useful, but you knew you wouldn't be able to hold your own if you were to become a hero. So you studied some martial arts. You trained in hand to hand combat.
When the time for applying to schools came, you applied to one out of country. UA. It was known around the globe for producing some of the world's greatest heroes, including All Might himself. Going to the entrance exam would be a hassle had it not been for the recommendation you had. Taking the flight was nerve wracking. Especially considering it was your first time flying alone.
Making it there was the easy part. Then you had to take the practical exam and another entrance exam. You'd met one other girl there. Momo. You were so nervous and Momo was a brilliant girl, being fluent in English at only age 15. So she conversed with you in your mother tongue to help soothe your nerves. It had worked.
You had been thrilled to find out you'd made it into UA. You would be staying at a designated spot UA had for exchange students. You were glad to know there were others going to the school like you. Thousands of miles away from home and out of their element.
Walking into your classroom was interesting, taking in everyone's unique appearances. You noticed the two from the recommendation exam immediately. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki. Momo flashes you a grin, and you smiled back. The loud commotion from the other side of the room had caught your attention. Two students already arguing.
A taller male with blue hair. He was screaming at the other kid about his feet on the desk. The other male responded crudely. You took in his appearance. Unruly and messy spikes of ash blonde hair and the most intense vermillion red gaze you'd ever seen.
The first day had been filled with a number of tests from your homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa. You weren't expecting the threat of expulsion, however. You couldn't afford to get expelled. After all, you had come across countries to attend this school. So you had done your best and scored pretty high. You were fourth, right under the explosive kid from earlier. Bakugo.
Further on into the year the two of you are paired together for a number of team missions. It was difficult to work with him. He was so focused on his own goals and success, he completely ignored your existence. Leaving you to fend for yourself.
Year two is when you began to really focus on your quirk. Really learn how to use it. Focusing on using space as an offensive weapon. You can manipulate it, grasp things and catch them. Lift them. Shoot a beam of space. But if you weren't careful, you could easily destroy an entire city.
That was something you had been warned about. Mr. Aizawa specifically made it his job to remind you how bad your power could really be if you hadn't trained it right. And you'd worked hard to perfect your quirk, even though all your classmates were ahead of you in that aspect. You worked hard to catch up.
Somewhere, somehow, Bakugo had grown to be more of a team player. In the sports festival your second year, you showed off all your new moves, and you came out on top. Pushing Bakugo down to second place. You could only smile, wondering if your parents were seeing this. If they were watching you on TV from home.
After that, Bakugo began to acknowledge your existence. It was different from first year. You'd grown stronger, more confident. You were not afraid of him. He admired your strength. Third year had come and gone, and you'd become a pro hero. Your hero name was Celestia. You were the space hero. But a severe accident on one of your first missions goes terribly. You lose your quirk. It was like it all happened so soon.
You and Bakugo had stayed close friends. At 18, you were already retiring your career as a pro hero. How pathetic. There's only so much you can take once you come to terms with the fact that you're useless, and you call Bakugo. He comes over and he comforts you. But one thing lead to another. You were in front of him two months later, telling him news you knew he wouldn't want to hear. You were pregnant.
"I don't have time for a family. It's a rough climb to the top, (Y/N). You're quickless and pregnant now on top of it. You'd only be a liability." You should've known. You were expecting something like this, but you hadn't expected it to hurt so badly. After that, you left Japan. You couldn't do anything with your hero life. It was over. Moving back to the states after being away for a couple of years took some adjusting. You soon gave birth to a baby girl all on your own.

You'd recieved an offer from UA. After years of staying out the hero scene, they'd offered you a position. What you would do? You had no clue. Sure, you had been a pro hero once. But you lacked the experience. When they told you that you'd be a guidance counselor, it all clicked. Ahh. . . So nothing big after all. Yet, it was a stable job and they provided you and your daughter a two bedroom room in the teacher dorms.
You'd make more money than you did with your current job. You had to put your daughter's well being and future in mind. She was only four, but it was better than the small place you had before. First day rolled around and you were introduced to the staff for the year. It was weird, working alongside heroes that had been your teachers only a few years ago. It would take some getting used to.
The first day had been so slow you were able to leave early. You texted Momo. The two of you had kept in touch this whole time. You had even made her your daughter's godmother. Your daughter, Delilah, had been a spitting image of your father. Same ashy blonde hair and vermillion eyes.
Regardless of the reminder of who her father was and the painful reminder he wanted nothing to do with her, you wouldn't give her up for the world. After losing your quirk, she'd been your new purpose in life. The best blessing you could've asked for. She was a feisty one. You couldn't tell if she'd gotten it from you or Katsuki, though.
You decided to meet up with your old UA classmates for dinner at a local place, with the exclusion of Bakugo. Nobody dared to let him know you'd even been back in Japan. Bakugo had climbed to the number one spot fast after you'd left. But he soon realized it was all it cracked up to be, and how it was so lonely at the top. He'd pushed away everyone and everything to focus on this goal.
He'd been thinking about reaching out to you after all these years, wondering what happened. If you had kept the kid or not. He wondered what their quirk was. If they looked like you. Was it a boy or a girl? Why did he care?
He'd been walking with Kirishima after their shifts had ended. When Kirishima had spotted all their friends gathered and eating through the window. He immediately pulls Bakugo inside so they can join. He greets everyone with a big grin. Bakugo following behind. "Why the hell weren't we invited?!" His voice was ever so loud. That's when everyone freezes. His intense gaze finds your (E/C) orbs. They widen when he realizes it's you. You were here after all this time. Sitting next you, had been a carbon copy of himself. There was no doubt. . . It was his daughter.
