Mark Fischbach and Amy Nelson were packing their car with all their moving boxes. Today was the day that they'd be moving into a new home. At least one on the outskirts of California, Mark and Amy had recently gotten engaged and it was time for them to start over in a new location. While the two were packing the car, Mark had entered his studio to find his father sitting on a box. However, the only handicap about that was the fact that his father was a spirit.

"Mark," says his father. "I hope you made sure to pack everything,"

"Yes dad," says Mark who groaned in annoyance. Unlike his Fiancé, Mark could see and talk to spirits. He had been hiding it from Amy since they had met, what he hated was that the spirits were all over the place some earthbound and wishing they could get help. Only Mark could speak to them, he tried his best to avoid looking at the spirits whilst he was with Amy for fear that she was going to laugh in his face. Though that never stopped the spirit from noticing, even a slight glance at the spirits general direction was enough to attract them. "I know how to pack, I've done it before,"

"Yes, and you nearly forgot your computer tower," responds his father as Mr. Fischbach's brown eyes watched Mark making sure that he had everything. "And comb your hair you look like you just got mauled by a bear,"

"Gee thanks dad," responds Mark sarcastically as he picked up his desktop carefully and brought it out to the car.

"Where exactly is this house in the first place?" asked his dad.

"Are you done criticizing me?" answered Mark who was now starting to get even more annoyed than he already was with his father.

"Who are you talking to Mark?" asked Amy as she suddenly appeared around the corner. Mark cursed under his breath at the same time he and Amy finished packing the car.

"No one," says Mark. "Just talking to myself,"

"Not like you don't do that now," spoke his father implying on the computer games he had been playing.

"I heard that," said Mark silently. He loved his father, but he didn't understand why he hadn't moved on yet. Anytime Mark would ask his father, his dad would tell him not to worry about it or that he was just watching over his own son. Once the car was fully packed Mark and Amy said goodbye to their old home, Amy got into the passenger's seat while Mark got into the driver's seat. Mark started the car as the couple began to make their way toward their home. Throughout the entire ride, his father was sitting in the backseat watching Mark's movements. After a while of driving, they had eventually arrived at an old house that was practically falling apart. Mark's father looked at the house in shock, he wondered why his youngest son was moving into an old crumpling building.

"You can't seriously be moving here," says Mr. Fischbach as Mark ignored his father, parked the car, and climbed out. "Mark!" unlocking the car doors, Mark and Amy began making their way toward the door when Mark's eyes suddenly wandered up to the attic window. The minute he looked up he saw what seemed to be a man with green hair and piercing blue eyes. The man seemed to be watching Mark and Amy, however, when the man looked he had practically locked eyes. They stared at each other for a split second before the man vanished.

"Mark?" questioned Amy causing Mark to snap out of his thoughts.

"What?" said Mark.

"Are you going to unlock the door?" Amy asked politely as she was carrying a heavy box in her arms.

"Right," says Mark. "Sorry," Mark walked over to the door and unlocked it. The door creaked open like it hadn't been oiled in years. The couple stepped in and saw how old the building was, it had been falling apart with floorboards falling off on its nails followed by an old staircase that led up to the second floor. Sean McLoughlin had been watching from the attic window as another couple had moved into their house. There was a man with Korean features and brown hair, followed by a beautiful woman with blonde hair; Sean watched as the man suddenly looked directly at him. He and the man had been staring at each other for a good thirty minutes before the woman snapped the man out of his thoughts and they ventured into the house.

"Was he able to see me?" Sean thought to himself. "Or was I only imagining things?" shaking his head, he clenched his hands into fists. It didn't matter, they were still treading on his territory and he wasn't going to let anyone else live in the house. Not while he was around, he watched as the couple walked in and out of the house; once they had finished bringing everything in, it was Sean's turn to do something about it. The first person he was going after was the woman, he walked into the kitchen and watched as the woman opened one of the moving boxes.

"Who are you people? And what are you doing in my house?" questioned Sean even though he knew that she couldn't see him. The woman paid no attention as she started to take out glasses and silverware.

"Hey Amy," says the man as he stepped into the kitchen. The minute Mark entered the kitchen he stopped talking as his eyes landed on the same man he saw in the attic window. They locked eyes for a while as Mark went into protective mode and inched close to Amy. Sean seemed to notice and was too stunned to even say anything.

"Yes Mark?" says Amy until she noticed that her fiancé was paying attention to a location in the kitchen. "Babe? Are you okay?"

"Huh?" says Mark as he snapped out of his thoughts and turned back toward his girlfriend. "Oh yeah, I'm fine,"

"Are you sure?" questioned Amy looking slightly worried about her fiancé's sake. "Because you look like you've seen a ghost," she continued. "You look pale,"

"I'm fine babe," responds Mark. "I just wanted to know if you needed any help,"

"I think I can handle the kitchenware; you go ahead and look for your new office," she said. "I just hope that some of these things actually work,"

"Alright," says Mark. "and I'm sure that they should work," Mark continued as he wanted to get out of the kitchen immediately. He could feel the spirit in the house staring him down like he had something on his face, Mark was not expecting a spirit to be haunting the house. He wanted a break from that, especially since most of the time it made him worried that his special abilities would attract not only good spirits but evil ones. Turning on his heel he made his way out of the kitchen and grabbed his computer gear, Sean followed determined to figure out how the newcomer was able to see him. He watched as the man, Amy called Mark, walked up the stairs.
