He knew that going through the rooms would be extremely dangerous, but he had no other choice. Jake took out the piece of paper showing the guard locations, and, using the glow from the tubes, looked at where all they stood.

Guards weren't placed in every room, due to the shortage of manpower. He planned his route, and tapped his card against the reader.

The iron door dropped down, revealing a pitch dark room. He approached the room, and looked around. He continued walking. Jake approached a room and heard footsteps. Jake remembered clearly that there were no guards stationed at that room. They had upped the security.

He was in a 2x2 grid of rooms. In front of him was the room in which the guard stood. The other 2 rooms were to his left. Jake couldn't think of what he could do. Hidden safely behind a corner, he thought.

Jake finally came up with a plan. He took a stray screw behind him, and slowly made his was to the room on his left. (Room 1) He was now in a room diagonal to the guard's. He took a deep breath to calm down, and slid the screw to the room beside the guard's. (Room 2)

Swiftly, but quietly, Jake went back into his original room, in time to see the guard walking towards the screw. Jake ran through the room, passing it, without getting caught.

Jake continued on until he got to the vent. This vent, along with many of the other vents were push-opened. He pushed open the vent mesh, and crawled in.

He retraced his steps back to the vent opening at the gate. However, to his dismay, there was a guard there. He waited for the guard to leave. Waiting... Waiting...

Jake woke up in a jolt. An alarm went off and scared the life out of Jake.

"The Great Hall is now in lock down! Remain at your position." Jake heard, before cursing to himself. They found out about Mr. Samuel's card. A metal wall emerged from the ground, and blocked the side gate entrance.

Knowing already all the information he needed, he took the card and threw it as far away from him as possible. The guard was still there. Having nothing to do, Jake began daydreaming...

Imagine if we had identity cards on our fingers. Like little prints that copy onto whatever we touch. Like finger-... finger-prints! Imagine if we had that, then everything would be so much harder.

Suddenly he heard another announcement, " All staff to the LR. IT team to the ER."

Jake knew that ER stood for Electronic Room. They were going to turn the security cameras on. Though the security cameras are always on at night, very little people know that, during the day, the cameras didn't actually work, as to save energy and memory. He pushed open the vent, and heard a voice ahout,"Hey! You!"
