One by one 19 other girls arrived at Hemmings massive castle taking a seat at the long dining room table in a polished stone wall room.

They all sit gasping and chatting about being picked, all I do is continue to stare at my nails.

I don't even realize Prince Luke as he sits at the head of the table, I only realize when all of the girls go silent meaning that one of the royals are in their presence.

"Hello girls" Luke's raspy voice announces as everyone erupts in to "hi's" or "heys". Again I'm sitting their silent dragging my eyes away from my nails.

"So my servants will show you to your rooms, I will meet each and everyone of you individually" he smiles as each servant appears behind us.

"Hello ms Nightguard I'm Albert, I will show you to your room" a man in an old tuxedo appears behind me as I eject from my seat.

"hello Albert" I give him a dazzling smile realising I'll need all the help I can get.

"Come along" he offers me a hand as we walk through many halls and corridors.

I arrive in an old fashioned room, it's hideous to me, white lace curtains, floral carpet matched with a large bed of purple and white along with many old antique looking wooden cupboards.

"Would you have any questions ?" Albert asks as I turn around facing him.

"Oh yes, how long would I stay here?" I ask as I sit on my bed patting it inviting him to sit.

"Ah, well it all depends when Master Luke's soulmate is found, ranging from 3-4 months minimum. I know it isn't exactly the greatest thing but it gives you a decent chance with him" Albert smiles handing me a cup of tea.

"Oh" I puff a little sadly, I'll miss my mum a lot she's always there for me aswell as my dad.

"Don't worry ms Nightguard all will come right in the end" he smiles as I smile sadly taking a sip of tea.

"Thank you very much I think I will like having you as company at times if you wouldn't mind" I smile as he nods modestly.

"It would be my pleasure ms Nightguard, any questions feel free to ask me" he says before exiting the room.

"UGHHHHH" I shout in frustration throwing my hat in to the walls and letting my dark brown hair cascade over my shoulders.

"Fuck this" I mumble walking towards a cupboard of clothes in search of pajamas.

All I end up finding is a draw full of night gowns, nighties and slippers.

I whimper a little bit at the sight of the ugliest wardrobe in history pulling out the least ugliest nightie which happens to be a long sleeve white laces one which ends just below my ass.

I collapse in to the bed falling in to a dark slumber wanting to sleep for a couple of hours.

"Reece?" I hear a voice say as I feel continuous hands shaking me.

I roll up my duvets making myself a burrito, once again. It's kind of like my signature move ya know?

"Reece?" Again I hear as I moan a bit sitting up with my eyes closed running my hands through my hair.

"Albert can I have a little more time I'm exhausted with this whole situation, and I'm exhausted of this room" I say opening my eyes a bit to not see Albert but a boy with piercing blue eyes.

The one and only Luke Hemmings.

My eyes go wide as I roll away from him unwrapping my self from my ugly duvets.

He stands chuckling, weirdly it's kind of cute to me.

"Crap what did I miss" I say stretching as his eyes go wide looking down.

Am I that fat wtf.

I look down to see that the lace nightie had ridden up over my butt, revealing my underwear which happens to also be white laced.

"Um" I say pulling it down as he eyes meet mine.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm gonna meet you next, it's a date" he smiles charmingly at me as I flick my hair a bit.

"Where?" I ask tugging a smile at the end of my lips.

"A nice little garden date, specially for you. Your gorgeous you know?" He smiles enveloping my hand.

My cheeks heat up as I slip my small hand from his.

"Let me get ready, um do I have to wear a ball gown?" I ask biting my lip as he nods walking out of my room.

He is charming I'll admit that. And cute is he that bad?.
