I get back to base and see some strange looking guys. I guess these are the knew recruits. Hopefully I don't have to bunk with any of them.

" Aren't you going to say hello?" Shigiraki asked when I passed by everyone without a second glance.

" Not interested." Was all I said.

" What's wrong with you? So far you are playing your part well." Ha says what just happened.

" Look. I just saw my mother while playing buddies with my number one enemy. She was so close to finding out who I was since I didn't have my contacts. I may have cut my hair and dyed it and I may be covering up my freckles but my eyes will give me away to her. So I just spent time not even looking at my mother just so I could keep it a secret so I'm sorry if I don't want to introduce myself to some low level criminals."

" If you miss her so much go back to her. You're the one who decided to join."

" I don't miss her. She never even questioned why I would come home with bruises or burns when I was being bullied. She visited me only when I was in a coma and not when I woke up. She pretty much stopped paying attention to me after my father died. And when she did it was only to look at my eyes and pretend that he was still here. What bugs me is I had to be rude when I was supposed to be acting friendly." I just walked away after that. I'm tired of this conversation already.

Inko's POV

Something's off about that boy. He looks too much like Izuku and I know for a fact that the others in that group only had daughters. The one guy who had a son reported that his son had died a week before the incident. Not to mention that his son was in high school at the time.

Did Izuku change his name and look? Was he so tired of being who he was to do that? Is this all my fault for neglecting him the past few years? Is Izuku Midoriya now Hide Takahashi? I need to find this out.

Ooh Deku is full of drama and Inko is full of questions.
