I was talking to my dad
Because on the radio
It had said suicide rates were going up
Where I live
And I tried to explain to him why
But he didn't understand
Why someone would want to end their
Life.
And again I tried to explain
That maybe their home life was awful
Or the kids at school bullied them
Or they don't know why they're depressed
They just are
But he said suicide was never the answer
And in my head I thought
But it is an option.
