I'm just an average girl
Living in a cruel, lonely world
Wondering were I might end up
Or will I decide if I've had enough
Just an average suicide
As my life passes before my eyes
I see the moon so bright and blue
But most importantly I see you.
This average girl
The one who knew
Sits silently at the pew
The tears rolling down her face
But I know I'm in a better place
And she runs home
Before the service ends
And cries and cries
On her bed
She grabs her blade
And presses in
The blood seeps out of
Her sliced skin
I watch her
Crying out in my head
"Stop now! Or you'll be dead!"
But she can't hear me
So I let her be.
She's Just an average girl
Living in a cruel, lonely world
Wondering where she might end up
Or will she decide she's had enough
Just an average suicide
As her life passes before her eyes
She sees the moon so bright and pretty
But most importantly she sees me
I'm the only one who knew
Sitting silently at the pew
No tears rolling down my face
Because I know she's in a better place
So there we stand
Hand in hand
Seeing the light
So bright and grand
I look at her
She looks at me
"Look at us," I say,
"We are finally free!"
