Edward P.O.V

The next day Jacob, Leah and I were going to pay a little visit to Charlie. Bella said she didn't want to be there, she wasn't ready to be in the same room as Charlie yet. She decided to stay at the conference room with Alice while we came back from talking to Charlie.

We waited in the interrogation room for Charlie for ten minutes until he walked through those doors. The image of the hard working man I once knew was destroyed by a man who's beard grew, his eyes look tired, dark, emotionless.

"Edward," he mutter, biting his lower lip.

"We need to talk," Jacob said, "you said you wanted to help find your grandson, we're here to warn you."

Charlie's eyes lay on me, "I'll try, but I'm not sure if it will help."

"Why not?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Tanya is way too smart, she probably already knows I'm here. The only way you can get to her is by her getting to you."

I shake my head, "That doesn't make sense."

"Think, Edward, think. What was Tanya's whole purpose of doing all of this, huh? You know mine, it was getting you for ruining my daughter's life, but her, the only thing she wants it's to hurt Bella. She hates her with everything she has, she doesn't care about you anymore, she only wants to hurt Bella."

"So, you're saying that we use your daughter?" Leah asked.

"Yes, Bella can be the only one that will help you to get to Tanya."

"No, that's not happening," I growled.

"Maybe we should consider-" Leah says but I cut her off.

"No! Bella is not being involved here!" I snapped. "It's either him or me, not Bella!"

"Then it won't work," Charlie growled. "The only thing Tanya wants it's Bella, so if it's not her then say goodbye to your Baby Bruno."

I immediately started to shake with anger. I walk out of the room, and walked in the conference room where Bella was sitting down next to Alice.

"What happened?" Alice asked, looking curious.

"There's no use," I said, almost growing, running my hands through my hair. "Charlie said that the only way to get Tanya is by her getting to Bella."

"Wait," Bella said, standing up, "She wants me?"

"Apparently it's the only way, she did this because she wants to hurt you. I'm not letting that happen," I growled.

Bella bit her lip and said, "Maybe..."

"No," I snapped, "you're not."

"Edward, it's probably the fastest way to-" Alice started to say but I cut her off.

"No! I said no."

"Edward, please!" Bella begged. "It's the only way to get our son back. I'm willing to take that risk."

"Well, I'm not," I hissed, "first it was him and now you want to go, no! I'm not willing to take that risk!"

"Please! Edward, this past few weeks... You've been gone, you're not there because you're trying to find him. I want to find him, too. I want him as much as you do," Bella cried.

"You're not," I hissed.

"Well, I'm going to wether you like it or not!" She snapped. "I'm doing whatever she wants just to have our son back. And if I die trying it won't be in vain."

With that I knew that there were be no possible way of changing her mind. She would do this with or without my permission, probably behind my back. From what I see that way Jacob looks at her, I know he will help her do this.

"You know what," I growled, "do whatever you want, Bella, obviously you don't give a shit about anything."

I took my jacket and walked out, ignoring Alice calling behind me. I got in my car and drove off.

Bella P.O.V

"Edward, wait!" Alice called but I guess he was gone. I heard her sigh and said, "Bella, you probably shouldn't do this."

"But my son-" I cried.

"Bella, they're doing everything they can to find him," Alice said, "why do you think Edward's been out all this time, huh? He's been out here trying to find Bruno just so you don't have to be in danger. You guys lost Bruno, but still there's a possibility that you might get him back, what if you go and Tanya tries to kill you? Then? Edward would get him back but loose you, and I know that's the last thing Edward wants. To loose you, too."

I sighed, closing my eyes. I want to help, I want to be able to do something worth something, like saving my son. But, I don't want to hurt Edward.

One part of my mind tells me that saving my son is the right thing to do; the other tells me that it's the biggest mistake I could do, because there's a chance that if I do this Tanya would probably end up killing me. But... At least my death won't be as tragic as it would be losing my Bruno.

"I love Edward," I say, "but I'm willing to risk my life to save our son."

Author's Note:

I wonder should Bella risk her life to save her son or should she let the police do their job? What do you guys think?

Thank you to all of you for the support! I really appreciate it!
