"izzy, we only invited you because daniel really wanted you to come." keri said looking directly at izzy.

izzy was at anna and keri's apartment with tyler, christian and jeff for the announcement of the divorce.

anna still didn't know what was going on, and was confused on this meeting. izzy felt bad for anna, but she couldn't do anything.

"okay. so." keri started, taking a big breath. daniel refused to look at his mom, and stood next to izzy looking at the ground.

anna wondered why the tension in the room was some what awkward. maybe it was because of izzy?

"anna, please don't be mad at your mom and i when we tell you what were doing." jeff said calmly looking at his only daughter.

"guys, your scaring me, what's going on?" anna whimpered looking at her brothers, then her parents.

"just wait." tyler said softly, feeling sorry for his sister.

"there's no simpler way to put this so... your dad and i are getting divorced." keri said, looking at anna.

that statement hung in the air for a few minutes. anna couldn't believe her ears. "no." anna said, trembling.

"your not getting divorced." she continued. "anna, honey it's a decision your father and i agreed on, the only one - for that matter." keri mumbled.

"NO!" anna shouted, tears streaming down her face. "WHAT HAPPENED TO, 'were always going to be a happy family?' or, 'nothing will tear us apart'? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT!"

"honey, it's been complicated between your dad and i." keri said looking at the blonde haired girl, breaking down.

"your mom and i have been - how do you say it? fallen out of love?" jeff said, with his voice cracking.

jeff knew he still loved keri, but the amount of arguments they had were insane, and he was doing it because he didn't want his four kids living with argumentative parents.

"i read enough books on romance to know what love is! you're not getting divorced! i refuse to accept that!" anna yelled at her parents.

"anna...the papers have already been submitted." keri said walking over to the girl. "no! don't touch me!" anna hissed at her mum.

anna had friends with divorced parents, and they have been telling her how miserable they've all been, and how hard it is to go to two places every now and then.

"honey it's for the best." keri said.

"no it's not!" anna cried, and christian and tyler ran to their little sister, hugging her in comfort.

"mom, you broke her." tyler whispered to keri. "i know tyler, i know. but it's for the best." keri said.

"we're still living in la, just not together, and not married." jeff mumbled. "exactly! i want my parents together!" anna screamed.

"anna, it's our parents decision. we need to respect that." christian said, uneasily. "are you happy that mom and dad are getting divorced? you're letting them get divorced?!" anna said yelling at christian.

anna was yelling very loudly, the neighbours would probably hear every single word.

"anna. calm down." daniel said, pulling away from izzy's waist and slowly walking over to the girl.

"i can't calm down!" anna said crying even more. she didn't even care that izzy was here, witnessing everything. all she cared about was the divorce.

"the divorce papers are coming tomorrow. this is the last day of being a family." keri muttered, sitting on the couch with her head in her hands.

"TODAY? TODAY'S THE LAST DAY?!" anna screamed. "and no one even told me about this fucking shit?" anna cursed.

anna rarely cursed, and when she did it was because it was a serious matter. keri didn't even correct her for her swear words, but continued silently crying.

"all of you knew about this? and didn't tell me?" anna said at her brothers. all of them just stared at the ground, not know what to say.

"whatever. i'm done." anna said, with her tears drying up. "i'm living with nicole and marina anyway, so bye." anna said walking out the door, and slamming it behind her.

it was an awkward silence after that, and the seavey family minus anna, plus izzy were just staring at the ground.

"okayyy... so um crawford wants me now, so um im going go!" christian said, breaking the silence and rushing out the door.

"yeah, me too." tyler simply said and followed his brother out. "daniel and izzy, honey you guys can go now." keri said sighing.

daniel nodded, and pulled izzy out the door with him

"that was intense." izzy commented, when her and daniel reached daniel's car. "yup." daniel said sighing.

daniel started the car, and he drove to his house, but then made a sharp left.

izzy narrowed her eyes, but said nothing because she knew daniel had a reason for turning the other way.

izzy found herself in the car with daniel, climbing up to the hollywood sign. "daniel, what are we doing here?" izzy asked when the car stopped a few metres away from the sign, and the view of la.

"we are going on an unexpected date."
