OUTER BANKS
episode 7: DEAD CALM
part 1

after finally finding the gold, the pogues felt like they could do anything.

the pogues were hanging out at the chateau, ren, kiara and sarah in the van with the door opened talking about this ridiculous drawing, explaining everything.

"he said it looked something like this," kiara showed them the paper which made ren laugh a little.

"so..." sarah started

"that's 50 feet down and they're using 100 feet rope," ren finished

"so i guess, this little wagon will go," she started, moving her fingers along the drawing sarah and ren laughing, "straight to the gold room,"

"who drew this?" sarah laughed

"who do you think?" ren looked over at john b and pope, pope who was already looking at them.

jj walked up to them and dropped the gold on the floor of the van purposely,

"kie, this better work," he said, "we can't pawn this if there's a giant wheat symbol on it," he frowned

"it's gonna work," kiara picked up the blow torch,

they got out of the van and walked over to where kiara was gonna melt the gold down,

she started melting it and it started off kind of good, until she was finished and it looked horrendous.

they drove to a nearby pawn shop and got out of the van.

"hell of a job melting it down, dr. frankenstein," jj said, sarcasm dripping from his voice

"yeah, nice one Einstein." ren also said sarcastically,

"like you guys could've done any better." kiara argued

"i could have done better," jj said which made ren question him, "i took a welding class,

"when?" kiara asked

"hey guys come on! chill out, okay?" john b asked

"that's easy for you to say, your not the one who has to pawn this piece of shit off," jj said,

"excuse you i'm doing it too you know?" ren said, "and how did we get this job anyway?" she asked

"cause you guys are the best liars," pope said

they walked into the store, the others walking around pretending to look around but ren and jj went straight to the cashier,

"afternoon ma'am." jj said politely

"hello!" ren followed him

"afternoon," she replied

"we see you buy gold," ren said

"that's what the sign say don't it?" she asked

"well, i sure hope you but a lot of it, because i'm about to blow your mind," jj enthused ready to show her the gold.
