I Love You

Chapter: 12

~Rhett's point of view~

I knew he was telling the truth. Just the way he looked at me with so much love. When I slowly let go of Links face, he ran out of the room. I followed him into the living room.

"Where's Christy?" Link asked turning to me.

"I think she said something about going over to see Jessie... Why?" I questioned. With that, Link took off in a rush. He flew out the door. I looked at the time and realized it was nap time, so that was probably why the kids weren't in the living room.

I caught up with Link at my door. He opened it and rushed throughout the house.

"Please calm down, you don't need to rush." I told him. He slowed down a bit and walked up the stairs. I followed him, he stopped at my bedroom door. I heard noises. Right before he went to open the door, I pushed Link out of the way. I slowly opened the door and peaked through. I saw Jessie and Christy kissing each other, and touching each other. I slowly and quietly closed the door. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at Link.

"What?" Link questioned.

"They're busy..." I whispered.

"Doing what?" Link whispered.

"Busy..." I whispered.

"Doing what?" Link whispered crossing his arms.

"They are... Kissing... And... Other stuff..." I whispered.

"What? What other stuff?" Link whispered.

"Do you want to look in there!?!?" I whisper yelled.

"Rhett?" Jessie called.

"Shit..." I mumbled under my breath. Link opened his mouth a little. He looked shocked. "Um... Yeah?" I answered. I turned around to the door.

"Who are you talking to?" She questioned.

"Link..." I answered. I heard shuffling and Christy spoke up.

"Rhett and Link, can you come in here and close the door? We need to talk to you."

"Oh my god... What do we do... Oh my god..." Link started freaking out.

"Link... Calm the fuck down... They just want to talk..." I whispered.

"Okay..." Link sighed and loosened up a bit. I opened the door and saw them laying on the bed. As I walked in, Link followed me. They didn't have any clothes on, they were just under the covers.

"Jessie and I have something to tell you..." Christy spoke slowly. Link looked at me with a questioning look. I leaned in closer.

"I told you what they were doing..." I whispered. Link looked down for a second and then looked up.

"Go on." I spoke up, turning my head to face them.

"Well... Jessie and I are..." Christy looked down then looked up. She opened her mouth to say something.

"We are having an affair. I'm sorry, it's been going on for about two or three months now... We love each other, and... We need you guys to... Sign... Sign the divorce papers..." Jessie finished, pulling out some papers from underneath the mattress. Link and I looked at each other. At that moment, everything stopped.

Link smiled at me... He smiled at me in a way I would never forget... He smiled at me, as if to say that we could be together... I smiled back at him. He had the most adorable smile... If I wasn't so lost in his eyes, I probably would know where I was... Time slowed down... My heart was beating fast as Link leaned in, and kissed me with so much lust... I fell to the floor...
