Chapter 1

"Please! Stop!" the man tied up on his knees begged. I was standing a few feet away from him, softly twisting the tip of my dagger knife into my leather glove covered index finger.

"This will all be over as soon as I get what I want," I assure him.

"I can't! I can't tell you!" he shouted towards me. Nope, not the answer I want. I walked over to him, and crouched down infront of him, so we were eye to eye.

"And why is that?" I asked innocently. I crossed my arms behind my back and twirled the knife through my fingers.

"Because he'll kill me if he finds out I gave you his name," he answered honestly.

I smiled a little. "Aww, sweetie. I'll kill you if you don't tell me his name," I reminded him sweetly, running my free hands through his shaggy brown hair. He shook his head and laughed mockingly. Making the bruises on his face heighten in color.

"I'm more afraid of him than I am of you," he said coldly. I stood up, causing him to glare up at me.

"That's an insult," I tell him flatly.

"Look, all I need is your boss's name. Who sent you to kill Fredrick Donnie?" I asked him for the fourth time now. Instead of giving me and answer, he spat on my black leather boots. I looked down at the spit now lying on the tip of the toe. I shook my head in disapproval and sighed. "Seriously, do you know how much these shoes cost? This is real leather. Honestly, feel them, they're real," I suggest him to, knowing he can't.

I hold my foot up under his chin so he can feel with that. "I don't give a flying f*ck about your shoes!" he spat at me. I then kicked him in the groin, causing him to fall over in pain. He groaned and moaned with agony.

"I bet you can feel them now," I mutter as I walked in a circle around him.

I continued to twirl the knife in my hand as I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him back on his knees. "Now stop the bullsh*t. I'm gonna ask you one last time, who gives you orders? Is it Tony Grawl?" I asked him.

When he didn't respond, I crouched down infront of him and dug my fingers deep into his collar bone. "AHH! Okay! Okay!" he screamed out in pain. I loosened my grip. "If I tell you, will you let me live?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied simply. He sighed and nodded.

"It's him. I receive the orders from Tony Grawl," he confessed. After he said that, I pulled the knife out from behind my back. "No! You said you'd let me live if I told you!" he pleaded with me.

I leaned forward to his ear. "I lied," I whisper before taking the knife and sliding it across his throat, cutting the lung tunnels so he couldn't scream in pain. I did a 180 degree turn around him and walked out of the small room, leaving his soon to be dead body on the floor before shutting the door behind me.

I quickly made my way outside the run down house, across the gravel, and over the iron fence I'd climbed on the way here. I walked down the alley and found my black motorcycle, climbed on, put on my helmet, and drove off into the quiet. empty street. As I'm driving I take a quick glance into the night sky. D*mn it, half a moon. The news stated that there won't be another full moon in another four days, which isn't good for m

See, if you were to look at me, you'd think I was your average eighteen year old. You'd think I was just some girl trying to be a bada*s. Well, when it comes to being a bada*s, I'm the best. I've been in training since I was five. My dad, Fredrick Donnie, brought me into his business of private soldiers. There are hundreds of others along me who fight and kill whoever my dad targets. But none of them are like me.

I was born differently from the others. My mother, Binara, was a woman of powers. While pregnant with me, she had the power to transfer energy from the moon into her body. The moonlight gave her strength. Once I was born, I too had this gift. My father noticed and put me into training as soon as possible. The moon is my own personal energy source. I can do things that others only dream of doing.

When I was eight, my mother was murdered right infront of me. That was the first time I'd ever witnessed something like that, but it wasn't the last. Most people say an eight year old should never have to witness anything like that, which is true. And that's the exact same thing I told my mother's killer when I was thirteen, right before I shoot him point blank in the face.

So since then, I've been trained to kill anyone who threatens my father's company. With the moon on my side, I'm the best soldier in the system. I can get in and out without making a sound. I can have a knife to your throat before you even notice I'm in the same room as you. But without the moon, my strength and power slowly decrease.

I become a regular human being like you...that is until the next full moon. With each full moon, my powers grow and last for no more than a half a month. So it's a good thing there's a full moon once every month.

As I'm riding down the freeway, dashing cars left and right, I can feel my powers decreasing. I get weaker and weaker by the more strength and power I use. I look back up into the night sky. Four more days, I tell myself as I head back to my father to tell him my mission was completed.

My name is Luna, and I...am a Moon Goddess.

[AN: so this is a new story of mine...everyone please tell me what cha thing. I promise the next chapter will be more interesting if this one is a bore...but it's more of a background of the character so you'll know a little somethin-somethin about her...so, you like it? hate it?]
