Chapter 14- New Beginings

Sky's POV

I got to go home later that day.

"Ok, Sky, Dad and I gotta go back to work. Gran went to go visit a friend. So I need you to watch Tristan ok?" My mom said as she started gathering her stuff. Dad was already leaving.

"Fine," I mumbled.

"Ok, Will can come over if you want" My mom said, winking. (AWKWARD)

I ran up to my room and decided to take a shower. I changed into a longsleeved black Pikachu shirt, grey skinny jeans, and left my hair down. I pushed my sleeves back and I realized what Carter did. Even it she beat me up and bruised me, that wouldn't be enough. So she scarred me-both physically and mentally. Tears streamed down my face and I thought Drew wasn't actually gone, was he? No, he can't be.

"Sky?" I turned around and Will was standing there- looking like a pokemon trainer. He hugged me and he said,"Shh, what's wrong?" "Carter t-told me that D-Drew died." I whispered into his chest. "Do you want to know if that's true?" I looked up at Will and nodded. He told Tristan that we'd be back soon. He's 13 anyways, he can take care if himself. "Where are we going?" I asked as we walked outside.He didn't answer so we walked for awhile. We stopped at a house and walked up to the door.

Will knocked on the door and Drew's mom opened the door.

"Hi Skylar, hello William," she said brightly.

"Hello Mrs. Miller, is Drew here?" Will said cautiously.

"Oh dear, I'm afraid Drew isn't here, he, he passed away, I'm so sorry Skylar" She whispered.

Tears streamed down my face as Will put his arm around me and I said,"I'm sorry, I really am."

"But wait, Drew left a letter for you." She handed me a letter. I stuck it in my hoodie pocket.

She told us the spot where he was buried at the cemetery. We said goodbye and walked to the cemetery since it wasn't far from there . I didn't want to go but I knew I should. When I looked down I couldn't believe what the grave read.

Later That Day

Will and I were watching Glee at my house. "MARLEY NOOOO!" We both screamed. Will started throwing popcorn at the TV because we couldn't believe what happened. "Will calm down!" I laughed. He looked at me and started laughing. Then, he smiled mischievously. "Will?" I said. He started to chase me around the house. I tripped so Will pinned me to the floor and started tickling me.

"WILL STOP OR NO POKEMON FOR YOU!" I laughed. He mmediately stopped and asked," Do you still have that guitar that you got?" "Yeah, I'll go get it." I ran up the stairs and got my guitar and pick. I haven't played in awhile. I walked down the stairs and into the family room. I sat next to Will on the couch and gave him the guitar. He started to play Superman

I did everything that you asked of me and more

Went to the moon and back, all you went was out the door
