Sarah
"Hello everyone, I hope you are as excited to this last week of school as I am. I don't know about you but I shall party hard on Wednesday." Mr. Ferguson starts, fist pumping the air, as soon as everyone has taken a seat and we all laugh at his little joke.

He proceeds with talking about our upcoming school trip which will occur after the holidays, however I'm too fed up with my own mind to even pay attention.

This is the only class I share with Jack and I can't get Cameron's words from this weekend out of my head. I haven't spoken to her since our talk and I have her voice haunting my mind.

The fact that Jack's sitting seats away from me makes my thoughts go blank. I just don't know how to react to everything going on in my life, it's just so much nowadays.

Half an hour into class I notice Jack exiting the classroom door, claiming his going to the restrooms when Mr. Ferguson asks, and an idea strikes my mind. I wait patiently for five minutes before my hand flies into the air.

"Ms. Reed, do you have a question about the text?" Mr. Ferguson asks me, looking up from the book he is reading, peeking at me over the top of his glasses.

"Not really, I'm just wondering if I could go to the toilet?" I ask him nicely.

"Of course." He nods and goes back to the book, Mr. Ferguson is really passionate about his own subject.

As soon as I get permission to leave I quickly stand and walk out the same door as Jack did. I am not sure if Jack actually went to the restrooms or if he went out to smoke, even though I have told him to stop. Not that he listens to me, he barely even talks to me anymore. The thought hits me and I get a weird aching feeling in my stomach.

Hoping that Jack spoke the truth I head towards the restrooms and it must be my lucky day. I have barely even gotten outside the restrooms when I see Jack exit from the men's toilet.

Once he sees me he stops dead in his tracks and looks at me with a blank stare, however he quickly gathers himself and tries to walk past me. Not that I let him, I stand in front of him with a determined expression. Jack is surprised by my move and takes a step back, crossing his arms and stretching to his fully length. He then proceeds to look down at me with one brow raised.

I shall not lie, his posture makes me nervous and excited. Everything Jack does makes me nervous and excited.

"We need to talk." I let out a bit shakily. I clear my throat and ball my hands into fists to try and calm myself. Don't let him get to you, he hasn't even said anything yet.

"Really? About what?" Jack asks with an indifferent look, it is the same look I have seen on his face for the last couple of weeks now and it drives me mad.

"About us." I say calmly, crossing my arms too.

"Us?" Jack says with a slight laugh.

"There is no us." He then says with a stern voice and I feel as if though someone has stuck a knife into my heart. I press my lips hard together and take a deep breath.

"There was." I say softly, keeping my gaze locked onto his chest. I cannot meet his eyes.

"No there wasn't, Sarah." He says coldly, his eyes hard and emotionless. "I don't know why you would think that, there's never been anything between us and never will be."

"Why? Oh I don't know, Jack. Maybe the fact that you've fucked me numerous times!" I snap and surprise him with my language.

"That was nothing more than casual sex." He says blankly once he has gathered himself.
