*~*~*

All his life,

he searched and searched.

roamed the globe

From North's Pole

To Bunny's hole.

From the darkest depths of the seas

To the endless heights of the skies

Yet he could never find a single phenomenon,

comparable to his Queen.

Tragedy had struck him years ago,

And even after the centuries passed,

He could still recall her smile, her eyes, her laugh

her feather like touch

And as his lonely heart searched for an entity

to fill the gaps in his shattered heart

He was left disappointed.

For no icy slope around the world

could compare to her frail figure

No layer of feather like snow

could compare to her silk like hair

No gust could leave him as refreshed

as her touch ever could

No light of the auroras could bring him the joy

her smile always did

or could shine as bright

as her eyes always did.

Her eyes, oh her eyes!

Bluer than the oceans, brighter than the skies

Holding such wonder and love

he could never tire from gazing at them.

Her voice, like the sound of trickling water

soft as the cushioned snow

and beautiful too,

such that even birds stopped to hear her sing

But alas, how time flies!

She is no more, but he sees her

all around the Globe

always in front of his eyes

But for the short time they were together,

She was his whole world

And he was hers

and none could replace them.
