Kang Gook was ready to leave and he asked a servant to take his bags to the ship. The servant asked him if he wanted to leave immediately but Kang Gook replied:
"Not yet, I would like to greet the prince before leaving, he's already awake right?"
"I don't know sir, but I suppose that he's having breakfast at the moment, why don't you go to his quarters and check yourself? I need a few minutes to bring your suitcases..." the servant replied. Kang Gook nodded and as the servant left with his things he went to the prince's bedroom
"Would you like to announce me please?" Kang Gook asked the eunuch in front of the closed door of the prince's bedroom
"I'm really sorry sir but his highness is in the bathroom at the moment, he said that he didn't want to get interrupted... but he also said that he hopes you will get to Hanseong safely."
"Thank you..." Kang Gook replied. He slowly walked away until he noticed another servant holding some clothes outside the bathroom, the prince probbaly asked for something in praticular and the servants got them before he finished.
The secretary kept staring at the light blue silk for a few seconds before going away.
"So, are you ready secretary? We will leave soon, I'm waiting for a few things to be charged as well, do you want to wait here? Or do you want me to call someone to show you your cabin?" the captain said as Kang Gook got on board.
"I will stay here for a few minutes, but I would like a cup of tea if it is possible." the captain nodded and asked a servant to prepare what the secretary asked.
Kang Gook was peacefully sipping his tea when he heard a few sailors chatting, he stood up and went to them annoyed
"What are you doing? Shouldn't you get ready for our departure?"
"Oh, sorry sir, but there's a man who's trying to kill himself" the first sailor said
"Yeah! I suppose that he is a nobleman, I can't see him clearly but look at the color of his clothes!" the second one replied
Kang Gook looked, he couldn't distinguish the face of the person who was about to jump into the sea but he could clearly hear the governor screaming
"Stop! Stop for God's sake!" the governor shouted behind the man with the light blue clothes, it was at that moment that Kang Gook connected all the hints... the departure, the shock and the servant outside the bathroom.
The secretary's eyes widened all of a sudden, the ship was already leaving, he tried to jumo off of it but the captain stopped him
"What are you trying to do son?"
"TAE JOO! I HAVE TO GO, LET ME JUMP" the secretary shouted
"take him to his cabin and lock him inside, he's crazy!" the captain said and two members of the crew did as he told.
"He jumped! He did it!" another sailor shouted as the prince eventually jumped. Kang Gook was in his cabin, he knocked and punched the door but nothing, nobody was going to open it
"why am I even trying... he jumped... it's too late... oh stupid! I knew it was a trap! Why did I even believed him! I knew he was crazy but really? Killing himself?" kang Gook thought out loud.
A few hours passed when he heard someone knocking, he came closer to the door and he saw that someone left a little piece of paper pass under the door.
Kang Gook took it and saw that there was just a little circle, he thought that it was just a joke at first but that little spot was quite weird actually, the color was a strange shade of red.
He licked it and he immediately understood that it was blood, he threw it onto the floor and shouted
"What is that? Who are you!? Why are you doing this to me?!"
"Goodnight... Kang Gook..." these were the last words he heard before falling unconscious.
"Open the door"
"yes your highness"
The door slowly opened, Kang Gook woke up and heard the door shutting. There was a tall man in front of him, he looked and
"I hope you slept well... my dear Kang Gook"
"T... T..."
"it looks like you didn't understand, you are a secretary, you aren't supposed to call me Tae Joo, you have to call me your highness..."
"No... no... why are you hunting me?!"
"Kang Gook, isn't it obvious? I thought you were going to save me... but you left me alone... the water was so cold... where were you Kang Gook? Why didn't you save me secretary?"
