Chapter 7

"Kang Gook, would you come here please?" Tae Joo asked with a really serious tone

"How may I help you your highness?" Kang Gook asked

"The servants are bringing my things on the ship... control them, I don't feel alright at the moment, I think that I should rest for a few minutes" Tae Joo said as he sat down beside Ji Tae and fell asleep on his shoulder

The whole operation lasted an hour more or less, the secretary couldn't help but wonder why the prince brought so many things with him, he knew that the journey was pretty rapid and that they weren't going to spend too much time in Jeju, what was going on? 

Kang Gook looked at Ji Tae and noticed that he was confused as well, but he was trying to hide that, it looked like he was just concerned about Tae Joo's situation. 

The ship left the port, an hour later Kang Gook came back to the couple with a little box

"What is it secretary?" Ji Tae whispered so that he couldn't wake Tae Joo up

"It is for you, I thought that you were hungry" 

"Oh... well thank you... aren't you going to eat anything... Kang Gook?" Ji Tae asked, he was a little embarassed since he didn't think that the secretary could be that kind. In the meanwhile Ji Tae took the box and opened it, he started eating after Kang Gook told him that he already ate something a few minutes before. 

"Thank you again... by the way... I have a question for you Kang Gook" Ji Tae said while Kang Gook was lookign at the sea

"Sure sir, why don't you ask right away?" 

"Yeah right... umm... tell me, when I asked you about your first time... you didn't reply, was it because something bad happened or just because you didn't think I could ask you such thing and you got embarassed so much that you didn't know how to react?" Ji Tae asked

"Are you asking me if I got raped? Such thing doesn't happen in the royal academy... the king wants loyal officers for the royal guard so he has to make sure that we are strict but that we didn't face anything that a young guy should never see with his own eyes..." Kang Gook replied calmly

"So you were just embarassed? It was just like that?" Ji Tae added

"it is a little unusual to meet a nobleman who is interested in my first mate under the blanket. However you were right, it was another guy... during the training... he was really kind... I'm still wondering why he entered the academy... he was really interested in culture... I asked him quite a few times why he didn't become a scholar... but he always replied that he liked the military career... so I gave up after a while and I didn't ask ever again..." Kang Gook explained

"And... how was it?" 

"What do you mean? Are you asking if it was painful sir?" Kang Gook asked back smirking, Ji Tae nodded, Kang Gook did his best to remain serious 

"Well... I don't remember that much... but it wasn't surely like a walk in the park... not for him at least... because sir... I'm really sorry but I have to inform you that I heard a little part of the conversation between you and his highness... I don't know if I'm better than you... but I'm a top if it is the information you wanted to get" 

"Don't be silly secretary! Why should I want to know if you are a bottom or a top!" 

"I really don't know sir, I just thought that you wanted to know a few more details since you wanted to talk about my first time that much. I would ask about yours too but since I'm just a secretary and you are a nobleman... that wouldn't respect the etiquette." 

"You little..." Ji Tae said pretending to be angry, Kang Gook looked at Tae Joo and noticed that he was shivering 

"I think that I should get a blanket for his highness... we might continue our delightful conversation later, maybe the prince will be glad to add some details that you prefer to hide sir" Kang Gook said before leaving

"So... what do you think?" 

"Tae Joo, I thought you were asleep" 

"I were... but you guys couldn't stop talking about who was a better top so how was I supposed to sleep? Am I really that handsome?" Tae Joo said smiling cutely

"yes you are honey..." 

"Don't call me like that here... I'm the prince after all..." Tae Joo said trying to show disappointment

Kang Gook was coming back but he stopped as he saw them chatting, how could that kind guy be the future king? How was he supposed to fight against his enemies? And most of all... why did Kang Gook feel that need to protect him? 

"here's a blanket for you, your highness" 

"Oh,thank you Kang Gook... you're so kind" Tae Joo thanked him smiling just like he did with Ji Tae

"You're welcome your highness... I'm just your loyal servant."
