NU’EST member Ren was recently in Taiwan last December, and it was now revealed that he was there to film the China edition of online TV series, ‘The Solitary Gourmet' 《孤独的美食家》, which is based on a Japanese manga of the same name.
For his short stay in Taiwan, it is unknown how many episodes Ren would be featured in, though it is presumed to be the earlier episodes of the online series, seeing how he was there at the scene when they kick-start the filming. The cast were seen launching paper aeroplanes in hopes of soaring ratings for the program, which is set to launch on the Chinese video hosting platform Tudou, in April this year.
The members present for the filming as seen in the photo includes director Jiang Feng Hong(who also directed popular online novel-turn-drama Summer’s Desire), actor Winston Chao, and food critique Zhao Zheng Ping. For more information, follow the official weibo here.
