Chapter 13 - Bad Dreams?

Chapter 13

A little over week later

Ichigo P.O.V:

It's been almost 2 weeks since Aizen was taken care of. Those who had died already had their funerals and today we had our first meeting since then and the kids went back to Shinigami Academy. We were last one to show up at the meeting and started right after we entered

Kyoraku: Thank you for attending today's meeting. I would like to start off by thanking all of you especially Ichigo without you we would have never been able to take down Aizen

Ichigo: Yeah yeah I didn't come here to be praised for my actions now get to the point. I said in a slightly annoyed tone because I knew he didn't call us just to thanks us

Kyoraku: Well then the reason I called all of you here today is because it regards you Ichigo

Ichigo: What about me?

Kyoraku: Your hollow. After your hollow displaying the amount of strength it has Central 46 has decided that the next time you go out of control they will execute you. He said in a grim tone

Ichigo: Honestly those bastards. You can tell them that I don't care what they do. First of all I didn't loose control I willingly let Zangetsu take control of me and second we wouldn't have been able to take down Aizen and lastly do they really think they can kill me.

Kyoraku: I was kind of expecting you to say that. But they told me that if you have gave me that response, to tell you that it will be very unfortunate if something happened to say Kazui or Ichika or even Rukia

Anger rose to my face how could he have the nerve to say that. I balled my hand into a fist

Ichigo: What are you trying to pull here Kyoraku I said in an angry tone

Kyoraku: I'm not trying to pull anything I'm just following orders

Ichigo: So your saying you'll follow those bastards orders even if it meant going that far. Do you know what they have done

Toshiro: Kurosaki is right because of Central 46 they killed my best friend just because he had the same Zanpukto spirit as me

Byakuya: Kurosaki I understand where your coming from but it's not like we can do anything about it anyways. Even if we did it won't end very well for us. Byakuya said in his usual cold tone

Ichigo: Yea but I'm not going to let them do anything they want and also Kyoraku tell them if they lay a single finger on Ichika, Kazui or Rukia they will regret messing with me. With that I flash stepped out of there.

I flash stepped out of there because I needed some fresh air. Central 46 really think that they can just do whatever they want without anyone speaking out against them. I have to keep a close eye on the kids and Rukia since they might be out for them

Rukia: Ichigo

I turned around and found that it was Rukia

Ichigo: Hey Rukia

Rukia walked up to me and grabbed my hand

Rukia: Are you alright Ichigo? Rukia asked in a concerning tone

Ichigo: I'm alright it's just I needed some fresh air

Rukia: Ichigo stop worrying about everything by yourself I want to worry with you. Rukia said pleadingly

Ichigo: Thank you Rukia

Rukia: You don't have to thank me come on let's go pick up the kids

Later that evening

Ichigo: Kazui how was your day at the Academy

Kazui: It's was boring

Ichika: Come on Kazui you only say that because you don't wanna learn kido

Kazui: That's because there is no point to learn them. All me and Ryogetsu need is Getsugatensho that's it. Even Daddy doesn't know kido

Ichigo: Well that's because I never had a chance to, it's important to know multiple abilities

Rukia: Says the one who learned 4 abilities and called it a day. Rukia said grabbing my cheek

Ichika: Mommy is right you are very lazy daddy

Ichigo: No I'm not I do train and stuff

Rukia: Hmhm from what I remember back when you were a Shinigami Daiko whenever you were not fighting hollows you were slacking off. And for the 17 months you lost your powers you were doing absolutely nothing

Ichika: Daddy now that I think about it what was it like not having your powers for 17 months

Ichigo: Well it sucked pretty bad because not having my powers meant that I couldn't help anyone. In all honesty I hated living a normal human life even thought that's what I thought I wanted. But what made it worse what not having Rukia around

I turned my head to face Rukia

I didn't realize how much I loved her until I didn't have her. I missed her so much and all it did was make those 17 months worse

Then all of a sudden Kazui grabbed my hair

Ichigo: Ow Kazui what are you doing

Kazui: Nothing it's just your hair is so long and silky I couldn't resist to touch it

Ichika: Let me take a look at it. She said eagerly

Rukia: Ichigo you never brush your hair and it's somehow so silky you know what next time your brushing my hair

Ichika: Mine too

Ichigo: What

How did this end up happening I thought to myself. Soon it got late so we kissed the kids goodnight and headed to sleep

Rukia P.O.V:

I woke up to Ichigo calling my name. I looked at the time and it was 3 am. He's probably having another nightmare. I thought to myself. All of a sudden I saw Ichigo quickly sit up and breathing heavily. Definitely a nightmare. I put my hand on his shoulder which startled him. He looked me and calmed down

Rukia: Did you have another nightmare? I asked Ichigo

Ichigo nodded not looking at me

Rukia: That's the third one this week do you mind telling me about because your starting to worry me. I said in a soft tone while putting my head on his shoulder

After some silence Ichigo finally spoke

Ichigo: It was Yhwach. He said almost whispering

I knew how hard of a battle Ichigo fought against Yhwach but that happened over 10 years ago. Why is he having nightmares now?

Ichigo: Rukia I'm worried about Kazui. He absorbed the remnants of Yhwach's power. He could come back and I don't want anything to happen to any of you. Ichigo said turning to face me

I took my hand and cupped his cheek

Rukia: Ichigo there's nothing to worry about I'm sure it's all going to be alright even if something does happen we've been through worse before haven't we

Ichigo: Yeah we have. Ichigo said grabbing my hand and gripping it tightly

I gave him a light kiss on this lips

Rukia: We should go to sleep we have to go to work tomorrow

Ichigo: Yea. He said while we were laying down

Rukia: Also you were calling my name when you were sleeping

Despite how dark it was I could tell he was blushing

Rukia: Anyways good night

Ichigo: Goodnight. He responded while wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close

Here's to another chapter. I know that Hitsugaya's friend being killed because they had the same Zanpukto spirit is filler but I thought including it in would make the story more interesting. Don't forget to vote and please leave your review
