Chapter 7 - Christmas Special

Chapter 7

A couple weeks later

Ichigo P.O.V:

I woke up today with a smile on my face. Why? Today is Christmas Eve. Today we are supposed to go to Byakuya's house and stay the night there for Christmas. I already had all of my gifts sorted out. I wonder what Rukia got me.

Rukia: Good morning Ichigo. She said smiling at me

Ichigo: Good morning Rukia. I responded while bringing her close

Ichigo: You know what today is right?

Rukia: Yea it's Christmas Eve

Ichigo: So what did you get me?

Rukia: You'll find out soon enough

Kazui: Can we come in

Ichigo: Sure come over here

Kazui and Ichika ran over to them and jumped to their laps

Rukia: You guys seem excited today

Ichika: Yea because tomorrow is Christmas

Ichigo: Well that is something to be excited about. He said while patting her head

Kazui: Daddy what did you get for Christmas? He asked curiously

Ichigo: It's a secret. I said while kissing his forehead

Rukia: Well we should probably get ready

Ichigo: Yea we should

Narrator P.O.V:

After getting ready and breakfast they headed towards Byakuya's house. As soon as they arrived they knocked on the door to be greeted by Byakuya.

Byakuya: Good morning Kurosaki, Rukia, Ichika, and Kazui

Good morning they all said in unison

Byakuya P.O.V:

I asked them to sit down while the waiter went to get us some tea. It was good seeing Rukia and Ichika but I still haven't fully excepted the fact that Kurosaki is her husband. While we were sitting Kurosaki and Rukia starting talking. Commenting on things and reminiscing not talking about anything important.

Narrator P.O.V:

Byakuya has never seen Rukia so open and carefree before. A wave of envy came over him. Rukia has never talked to Byakuya like that ever. In all honesty he was jealous. Jealous of the fact that they are able to show their affection for each other so freely. He was never able to do that with Hisana mostly because he didn't know how to but with Ichigo and Rukia it seemed so natural. Then he thought to himself maybe I shouldn't have Kurosaki so much. In reality he is a good guy and he is keeping Rukia happy and at the end of the day what he wanted was the best for Rukia

Ichigo P.O.V:

Byakuya: Ahem

Ichigo: What is it Byakuya? I asked him while turning my head to face him

Byakuya: I take all of you have been well

Rukia: Yeah we've been good

Kazui: Uncle Byakuya

Byakuya: Yes Kazui

Kazui: Can you please spar with me? Kazui asked pleadingly

Byakuya: Why do you ask?

Kazui: Well I want to see how my strength compares against yours and daddy has been training me

Byakuya: Fine but don't cry when you lose
