Harry: *looks at what his granddaughter is doing* You call that a drawing?
Alex: It's a cat, Grandpa.
Harry: You cannot draw! It looks stupid! You will never grow up to be an artist!
Alex: *crying*
Mother: Sweetie, what's wrong?
Alex: Grandpa hurt my feelings! He said my drawing looks stupid, and that I will never grow up to be an artist!
Mother: *hugs Alex* I'm sorry, sweetie! Your drawing is wonderful! Let me talk to him, okay?
Alex: Thanks, Mommy! *hugging her back*
Mother: Dad, that wasn't nice!
Harry: She should stop!
Mother: Dad, you have no idea what you're talking about!
Harry: *hawks and spits*
Mother: Ew! Cut that out, Dad!
Harry: *still hawks and spits*
Mother: Ugh! Come on, sweetie! Let's go outside, and take a walk! Just ignore him!
Alex: Okay, Mommy!
