A few hours later

Laura & Ross:(walking on the beach shore hand in hand)

Ross:(swinging their hands back and forth)

Laura:(smiles) You're so childish

Ross:(smiles) Thanks

Laura:(giggles shaking her head) Whatever

Ross:(Smiles looking at her) The sun shines on you so right, you look so enchanting

Laura:(blushes) Awe look at you using big vocabulary

Ross:(rolls his eyes playfully) You know I'd also take 'Awe Ross!' or 'I'm gonna shower you with kisses now'

Laura:(giggles) Well it was very sweet of you (kisses his cheek) And I'm not showering you with kisses ever in my life

Ross:(Smirks) We'll see (wraps his arm around her waist)

Laura:(Smiles resting her head on him) I can't wait to start a life... with you (mumbles)

Ross:(hears her) Awe honey!

Laura:(smiles) Whatever

Ross: I'd like to start a life with you too (Smiles) Actually.... (gets the ring from his jacket pocket but doesn't feel it) (eyes widen)

Laura: Actually what?

Ross: Uh.... actually I was thinking that we should buy a house of our own

Laura: Duh! Where else would the kids sleep (giggles)

Ross:(smiles) Kids?

Laura:(nods) Yeah (Smiles)

Ross: Plural. More than one. Oh my god! I'll be a daddy so many times!

Laura:(laughs) Shut up Ross

Ross:(Smiles and kisses her cheek) You'd be a great mother

Laura:(Smiles blushing) Thanks Rossy

Ross: Why are we talking about this when we're already kids?

Laura:(Shrugs) My mom told me she had Vanessa when she was 18 (tears up) I miss her

Ross:(pulls her into a hug) I know you do, it's okay (rest his head on hers gently)

Laura:(wipes her tears away) My life was good. I had a loving mom and dad and an awesome older sister but... when my mom died, everything changed

Ross:(rubs her back, back and forth)

Laura: My dad turned into a abusive alcoholic who is now in jail. My sister died from the beating my dad gave her and my mom got killed in a car accident (takes a deep breathe) And I'm the only one left here in this world

Ross: You have my and my family and Ratliff

Laura: I know but it would be nice to have my family again

Ross: When was the last time you saw them?

Laura: Well.... my dad never let me and my sister go visit my mom's grave and it just hurts to go back there visiting my mom and sister

Ross: What about your dad?

Laura: I can never look at him again. He almost killed me, he killed Vanessa. I can't call him dad anymore, I can't

Ross:(kisses her forehead) It's alright Laura, it's alright

Laura: Thank you for not leaving me (hugs him tight) I love you so much

Ross:(Smiles) I love you too Laur (pulls away looking at her and wipes her tears away) The sun is still shining on you perfectly

Laura:(smiles a bit)

Ross:(Smiles) I miss that smile of yours, can I see it again?

Laura:(Shakes her head looking down)

Ross: Oh come on (pokes her side)

Laura:(Giggles) Stop it!

Ross:(smiles) There we go

Laura: Ugh, whatever

Ross:(holds Laura's hand) Do you want to go see your dad? Just to let everything out off your chest, just one last time till he's completely out of your life

Laura: Oh um.....

Ross: It's okay, you don't have to. It was just a suggestion

Laura:(nods) It sounds like a good idea, let's do it

Ross: Do you want to go tomorrow?

Laura:(nods) Yes please

Ross:(nods) Let's head back home

Laura: Okay

Ross & Laura:(get in the car and drive back home)

Ross: Maybe you want to go visit your mom and sister since you haven't visit them in a long time

Laura:(nods) That sounds like a good idea

Ross:(holds her hand) I wish I was in your life sooner so I could've been there with you and help you

Laura: It's okay, I'm just glad you're here now

Ross:(Smiles) I love you too Laur

Laura:(Smiles and leans back in her seat looking out the window)

Ross:(looks at her briefly and smiles then looks back at the road) (thinks: I'm gonna make you the happiest girl in the world no matter what)
