At the hospital

everyone:(waiting in the waiting room)

Ross:(pacing back and forth)

Rocky: Ross chill

Ross: I can't. Laura's in there fighting for her life (sighs) I already lost a sister and best friend already from this flu. I don't want it to happen again

Rydel: We know you're worried. We are too but you have to keep calm about this Ross and have hope

Ross:(nods) Okay (sits down)

Mark: She's gonna be alright Ross

Ross:(nods) I hope so

doctor:(walks out) Ross Lynch?

Ross:(stands up) Yes doctor?

doctor: Laura wants to see you (walks away)

Ross:(stands up)

Stormie: Go on sweetie. We'll be right here

Ross:(nods and walks in Laura's hospital room) (sees Laura all pale, colourless, weak) Laura?

Laura:(looks at Ross) Ross (smiles weakly)

Ross:(walks up to her and hugs her gently)

Laura: I'm here fighting for my life and all I get is air hug?

Ross: Sorry, I just don't want to hurt you

Laura: I'm already hurting so it doesn't matter (hugs him with all her might she has left)

Ross:(smiles and hugs back) It's gonna be okay

Laura:(nods) I know. As long as I have you and your family, I know everything is gonna be okay

Ross:(smiles)

Laura & Ross:(pulls out of the hug)

Ross: How you feeling?

Laura: Sore but okay

Ross: I'm really sorry this happened to you

Laura: It's okay. It's not your fault

Ross:(sighs holding her hand) I want to tell you something

Laura: Okay. Tell me

Ross: So you know Julie

Laura:(nods) Yeah

Ross: Well, when Julie died she got this disease like you have. She was experiencing the pain like you are doing. Then.. (tears up) she died. She was out of my life for good. She was my best friend, my sister and my first crush. She was my everything. My whole world. When I first saw her I knew her and I were going to be great friends... I just miss her. It broke my heart when the doctor told me she died. It hurt everyone but me mostly. She's gone... I just don't want to experience this pain again with you

Laura:(smiles) Ross. I know Julie misses you too and I know that she tried her hardest. So am I. I will try hard to stay alive. I will fight. I'm sorry Julie passed away but I'm not promising that I won't die. You never know but I'll try for you.

Ross:(smiles) Thanks Laura (hugs her)

Laura:(hugs back) No problem

everyone:(walks in) Hey

Laura & Ross:(pulls away) Hey

Stormie: Oh sweetie (hugs Laura)

Laura:(hugs back) I'm fine Stormie

Stormie:(nods) I know (pulls away) You can't blame a mother for worrying

Laura:(smiles)

They talk for hours

A few hours later

Laura:(asleep)

Ross:(beside her holding her hand and just watching her sleep) (smiles)

Rydel: Ross

Ross:(looks at her) Yeah?

Rydel: Riker told us about you liking Laura

Ross: Thanks Riker (sarcastic)

Ryland: It's okay big bro. We think it's sweet that you like her

Ross:(smiles) Thanks guys (smiles fades) But she doesn't like me

Rocky: Is it legal for Ross to date Laura?

Mark: Yes it's legal and besides who cares? All that matters is that you love the person *I don't if that's legal or not*

Ross: Doesn't matter. I'd get no shot anyways

Rydel: Don't say that Ross. You'll get her

Ross: how? All she finds me as a friend

Riker: How do you know that?

Ross: She just finds me as a friend. I know so

Stormie: You never know unless you try

Ross:(sighs) I'm not so sure mom

Rocky: If you won't get her then we'll help you

Ryland: Yeah. We'll be your little cupids

Ross: Oh god

Rydel:(smiles) Come on Ross. You have to let us do this

Ross: N O No

Riker: Please Ross

R4:(get's on the knees and begs Ross) please please please please please

Ross: Alright! If that'll make you shut up

R4:(stands up) Yes! (high fives eachother)

Ryland: We won't let you down

Ross:(smiles) You better not (looks at Laura and watches her)

Riker: He's got it bad
