The Next Day

Ross:(still working on the list) (reads the next one) Write a song. Well that shouldn't be hard (goes upstairs to his room but then stops in the middle of the stairs) I should work on the guitar for a bit (walks down to the garage and sees it's not there) (panics) Where did it go?! (runs all around the house looking for the guitar) Oh no! Laura's gonna kill me! (throwing all the couch cushions and the pillows all around)

Laura:(walks down and sees Ross looking like a maniac) Um.... what are you doing? (catches a pillow about to hit her in the face) And watch it

Ross:(stops looking at her) I'm sorry but I'm just looking for the guitar you got me. I wanted to fix it, it's the guitar I've been wanting to have for a long time and I finally got but now it's gone (sits down on the un-comfy couch) (rest his head in his hands) I'm so sorry I lost it

Laura:(sits next to him) I know I ruined that guitar badly

Ross: It's not your fault

Laura: I know but just shut up so I can talk

Ross:(breathes out a little chuckle) Okay

Laura: Well I felt bad about breaking the guitar that you've always wanted so I called one of my friends to do a favour for me and to fix your guitar for free

Ross:(Smiles big looking at her) Seriously?!

Laura:(smiles nodding) Yes Ross, I felt horrible about breaking it, I'm sorry

Ross:(shakes his head still smiling big) Don't be! (hugs her tightly) Thank you Laura!

Laura:(Smiles hugging back) You're welcome Ross

Ross:(pulls away) When is it gonna be here?

Laura: Well there was a lot of damage and my friend estimates 4 to 5 days tops

Ross:(nods) Okay, thanks so much Laura

Laura: No problem, it's what I can do for you

Ross:(smiles) well I better get working on that song for you

Laura: Oh did you not read it? You have to preform it to tons of people in Cali

Ross:(smiles big) Even better. More people to hear the wonderful song, the better (goes upstairs to his room and starts working on it)

Laura:(giggles shaking her head) Oh Ross

Riker:(runs in) Laura! Where's Ross?

Laura: Um.... in his room but--

Riker:(runs upstairs to Ross's room)

Laura: But why?! (shrugs and goes in the kitchen to grab a snack)

With Ross

Ross:(getting ready to write a song) (cracks his fingers together) Let's do this (about to start)

Riker:(burst in Ross's room) Ross!

Ross:(jumps up scared holding his left side of his chest) Stop doing that! You're gonna kill someone by doing that

Riker: Shut up and listen

Ross: Wow, that's like the second time

Riker: Shut up!

Ross: Make that third. So what is it?

Riker:(takes Ross's hand and opens it and puts something in his hand) I hope this makes things better for you

Ross:(looks in his hand and sees a 4 leaf clover) (smiles wide) Oh my god! Finally! A 4 leaf clover! Thank you Riker (hugs him)

Riker:(smiles hugging him back) No problem (pulls away resting his hands on his shoulder) Now go give that ot Laura so she can cross it off the list

Ross:(smiles nodding and runs down)

Riker:(smiles)

Rocky:(walks upstairs) That was pretty good man

Riker:(Shrugs) I try

Rocky: Well let's get going on the rest of those things

Riker: What? (Smiles) You mean--

Rocky: I'll help Ross with the list. I didn't know he was so passionate to finish this list till I saw that spark in his eye whenever he gets excited and has hope. So let's help him on his next one

Riker:(smiles) I never knew you'd be such a good brother Rocky

Rocky: Hahaha.... (rolls his eyes)

Downstairs

Ross:(shows Laura the 4 leaf clover) Boom! 4 leaf clover done! Cross off the list! Boom!

Laura:(checks to make sure it's really real)

Ross: What's there to check? It's freaking real Laura!

Laura:(takes it out of her face looking at Ross and smiles) Okay, you can cross it off

Ross:(does a happy dance)

Laura:(giggles at how goofy he looks)

Ross(stops) I better work on the others! (races up to his room)

Laura:(sighs in love watching him run up the stairs)

Rydel:(walks in the house and sees Laura just standing there with a lovey dovey look on her face) (smirks) Ooh! Laura's in love!

Laura:(snaps out of it) I don't know what you're talking about (walks in the kitchen)

Rydel: Oh please, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You're head over heels for my baby bro

Laura: Ryland's okay but I only see him as a brother

Rydel: I'm not talking about Ryland, I'm talking about Ross

Laura: okay maybe I do love him still a bit

Rydel: Or a lot (smirks)

Laura:(blushes a bit) Whatever. I just don't want him to see me like that or else he'll think that I'll already take him back so quick, no I won't. I want to see him finish that list

Rydel: I get it but you're gonna have to make it less oblivious

Laura:(sighs) I know, I'm still working on it (goes upstairs to her room)

Rydel:(smiles) Oh teen love, you can just never get enough

A little while later

With the guys

R/R/R:(trying to figure out some lyrics)

Ross: Ugh! This is hopeless

Rocky: How about we look for some melody instead of lyrics when we have nothing!

Ross: Good idea (walks down to the garage with his brothers following)

Riker: What do you want it to have? Guitars? Drums? Violins?

Ross: I want it to be classical yet with a little pop rock in it too. Maybe some violins and piano a lot and-- oh! You guys can do harmony and Rydel can too

Rocky: That's good

Riker: What else?

Ross: Um....

Riker: You want to have some jingle to it a bit?

Ross:(nods) Well sure since Christmas is coming up pretty soon

Rocky: Smart thinking (walks over to the piano and plays around with it till he get a melody) I think I got something here (plays it again)

Ross:(smiles) That's pretty good

Riker: I think it could use a little bass in it (grabs his bass and joins Rocky in the melody)

Ross:(smiles) Yeah yeah yeah and I can get Ratliff to do a little drumming on a bucket or something

Rocky: Maybe some cellos

Ross:(smiles big) I think we're hitting off in a good direction
