"Hey" I looked up at the sound of Gio's voice and saw him standing in the doorway of the room

"Hey" I replied and he smiled walking further into the room and taking a seat on the couch next to the bed

"How are you feeling?" He quizzed leaning his elbow on his knees

"Good, just a little tired but I think that's normal due to the events from the past few days," I replied and he nodded, "um, can I ask you a question?"

"You just did," he replied with a smirk making me roll my eyes, "but sure go ahead"

"Um, I was actually wondering what happened to Patrick" I murmured biting in the inside of my cheek and he sighed leaning back on the couch before running his tattooed covered fingers through his hair

"Do you really want to know?" He asked with a raised brow and to be honest I didn't but at the same time I want to know if my life will continue to be in danger because of him and if I'll ever be free from him

"Yes," I eventually replied and he nodded retelling how he had found Patrick's lactation due to one of his guys finding the delivery guy and bringing him back here to be interrogated about who had given him the note addressed to Gio and how he and a few of his gang members had located the abandoned station where Patrick had taken me. He avoids telling me how he had found me which I have no doubt was naked with bruises and cuts but he does tell me that once he had me safely in his arms covered in a blanket that he left the building leaving one of his sadistic gang members back to deal with Patrick reassuring me that Hades-the guy that dealt with Patrick-would get rid of him once he was done with him.

"Hades killed and tossed his body into the river making sure that there was no evidence of us being in the building where Patrick kept you in," Gio finished and I swallowed the knot in my throat as I felt my eyes burn with unshed tears, tears of relief.

"So I'm free?" I asked and he shook his head making me furrow my brows in confusion and he leaned forward again resting his elbows on his knees

"Just because Patrick is out of the picture doesn't mean that he didn't have allies or that he didn't work with other people," he explained and I nodded, "which means that there could be other people searching for you if Patrick had sold you to any of those men" there was no doubt that the sick bastard actually sold me to another men like he had done the day Gio found me.

"So what now?" I asked and he pursed his lips and sighed

"I know you barely know me but I think the best thing for now is that you remain here with me and my gang for we can keep you safe until we find all of Patrick's friends and get rid of them all so they won't do the same thing they they've done to you to anyone else," he responded and stared at him shocked, "I know it's a shock but I assure you that you staying here is the best for you right now,"

"I don't know what to say. I mean I still have college classes to attend to," I said and he nodded

"I know it that doesn't change anything, in fact if you're okay with it, I was thinking to assign you guards to stay with you at all times while you're not here," he stated

"You really thought of everything," I commented and he smirked

"Of course I did, I'm not a leader for nothing," he explained making me smile, "look if you need time to think it over you're more than welcomed to think it over,"

"I know that you know about my roommate, I can't help but worry for him and the others that had been caught in this whole mess and I don't want to leave him on his own if I stay here" I said and he nodded
