It's Monday morning, it's time to get Zane and Olivia to school on time. Hazel is staying home from daycare today because Kelly and Stella have the day off. Kelly and Stella's alarm went off and they slowly woke up. "Good morning, sunshine," greeted Stella rolling over to give her husband a kiss. "Time to get these little ones off to school," told Stella. "Good morning," told Kelly.
They finally got out of bed at 7:10 in the morning. They had a little time before they had to wake the kids up. The school didn't start till 8:30. Kelly and Stella liked to wake up before they woke them up so they could get coffee and get ready before waking Zane and Olivia up. Stella was walking Olivia up a little earlier to
straighten her hair, for picture day.
Kelly went into Olivia's room. "Good morning, princess," Kelly said, turning her bedroom light on. "Mmmh," wined Olivia. "No, I don't want to go school," Olivia added. "Mommy is ready to do your hair like you asked," Kelly said, trying to make her feel better about going to school. Olivia sat up and wanted some cuddles before waking up all the way. "Cuddles daddy," asked Olivia. " of course, princess," Kelly said, laying down in her bed and cuddling her for a little. Kelly carried Olivia to the bathroom, for Stella could do her hair. "Good morning, mama," told Olivia. "Good morning, princess," told Stella. Kelly sat Olivia on the bathroom counter. "Did you get morning cuddles," asked Stella. "Yes, daddy gave me cuddles," told Olivia.
Kelly went to wake Zane. "Good morning, buddy. Time for school" told Kelly. "No, not already," wined Zane. "Yup, it's 7:20. It's picture day, we need to do your hair," told Kelly. "Can mom do my hair, she's better than you," asked Zane. "I think she will, but you have to ask her, she is in the bathroom doing your sister's hair," told Kelly. Zane got out of bed. "Good morning Momma Stella," told Zane. "Good morning, bud," told Stella. "Can you do my hair, dad sucks," asked Zane. "Let me finish your sister's hair," told Stella. "Thanks, mom," told Zane. "Your welcome bud," said Stella. "Please go get dressed while you wait," told Stella. Zane went to get dressed in the clothes that he picked out the night before. "Olivia all done, go with daddy and get dressed," Stella told Olivia. She ran downstairs to Kelly, who was drinking coffee by the table. "Mommy said to get dressed with you, daddy," Olivia told her dad. "Your clothes are upstairs in your room, we picked them out last night," Kelly said. Olivia ran upstairs to her room. Kelly put her in a black and white striped dress with Nike shorts underneath, with black boots and a black bow in her hair. "My princess is so pretty," Kelly said, kissing her head. "Thank you, daddy," told Olivia. "Go show mommy," told Kelly. Olivia ran to the bathroom, to show Stella and Zane her outfit. "Mommy, all done," told Olivia. "Princess, you're so pretty," Stella said, smiling at her little girl. "Sissy, I love your hair," told Zane. "Thank you, mommy and bubba," told Olivia. Zane had a black button-up shirt and blue jeans and black vans.
Kelly went to get Hazel ready to leave. He hated waking her up but they had to leave. Even though she didn't have to go to daycare, they had things to do after taking Zane and Olivia to school. Kelly put Hazel Faith into an onesie and jeans and put her in the car seat. "I'm sorry, princess I have to wake you up, but we have to go," Kelly told Hazel in his dad's voice.
"Are we ready," asked Stella. They all nodded, "yes momma," Zane said.
The Severide family loaded into the car. When they got to school. Stella and Kelly walked  Olivia and Zane to their classes. They dropped Olivia off first. "Bye princess," Kelly said, Kissing her forehead. "Have a good day I love you," told Kelly. Stella has her a kiss "I love you," Stella said, giving her a kiss. "Bye, momma and daddy, love you," Olivia said, running into her class to start playing with her friends.
"Bye bud, I love you, we will play trucks later," told Kelly. "Bye dad, Love you too," told Zane. "Have a good day, I love you," told Stella. "Bye, I love you too momma Stella," Zane Said, waking into the class. "That's not your mom, she's just married to your dad," the class bully said. Zane punched him in the face and started to cry. "That is my mom," Zane said,  walking out of the class. Stella bent down and picked Zane up. The teacher walked out of the class "your son just hit another student," told the teacher. "Maybe the other kid shouldn't have said anything about his mom," said Kelly. "Momma, am I in trouble," asked Zane. "No, baby," told Stella. "We will let the principal determine that," told the teacher. "Excuse me," told Stella. "Zane, hit another kid, you're not going to punish him," asked the teacher. "No, other Students shouldn't be saying who is my son's mom," told Kelly. "You can talk to the principal about that," told the teacher. "Happily," Told Kelly.
They walked to the principal's office with the teacher and the other student. "Zane punched him in the face," told the teacher. "He only punched him because your student said that I wasn't his mom," reminded Stella. "Did you tell Zane that she isn't his mom," asked the principal. "Yes," told the Student. "Zane did you punch him," asked the principal. "Yes," told Zane. "Okay, Zane you are Suspended for 2 days, Ollie we will call your mom and tell her what happened at school today. You can go to class," told the principal. "My son shouldn't be suspended," said Stella. "Stepson," told the principal. "Excuse me, we will be taking our daughter and son and moving schools. This is unacceptable," told Stella. They walked out of the principal office and walked to Olivia's class opening the door, "Olivia Layne let's go," told Stella. Zane is still crying. "Mommy, why are you yelling at me," asked Olivia. "I'm sorry baby, I shouldn't yell at you, mommy is very mad," told Stella. "Mom am I in trouble for punching him," asked Zane. "No," told Stella.
Back at their house.
"Will we ever go back to school," asked Zane. "Yes, but not that school," told Stella. "Mommy, why are you mad," asked Olivia. "Mommy is mad because so boy told your brother that I'm not his mommy," Stella told Olivia. "But you are his mommy," told Olivia. "It's okay, it will all be okay," told Stella. "Can we go play," asked Olivia. Stella smiled and rubbed her side of her face, "yes baby." Olivia and Zane went to the playroom to play. "I can't even believe that happened," Stella told Kelly almost in tears. "It's fine, you have as much custody as I do," told Kelly. "I know,  but it shouldn't be like that," told Stella, starting to Sob. Kelly kissed her forehead and held her tight.
