I'm running.

Someone is after me.

I don't dare look behind.

I don't have the slightest clue where I am. I can feel soft linens below my body. A warm sensation fills me.

Ouch. I try to open my eyes. All I see is the penetrating darkness. My memory does not fail to remind me of last night's events. I hear a loud voice walking towards me.

"Paul! Paul, are you awake? You had better be bloody awake!"

It's John.

"Oh! Wonderful! Your awake."

"John, can you please be a bit quieter?" His loudness hurts my brain. I want to bash his head in.

"Well. Let's call in the doctor to take these bandages off of your face, shall we?"

I have no clue what he is talking about. Soon, the doctor's large footsteps make their way into my room.

"Well, I see we are feeling much better. Let's take these right off." The doctor is just as loud as John.

He cuts the bandages off. The sudden light is blinding. My brain is overwhelmed.

I see her.

Then I see black.
