"So daddy kicked you out of the mansion huh?"

Sage rolled her eyes as she sat at the edge of the bed. She just finished wearing her short black silk pyjama set after a shower.

"Only for a while," she untied the towel on her head and wiped the ends of her black curled up hair.

"Right!" Zoe said from a pink beanbag that was at one corner of the room, "You're lucky I was even able to come collect you. Why didn't you call bestie?"

Sage eyed her, "Because I am not ready to confess to my sins."

They laughed.

Sage stood up and left the room going to put the damp towel in a wash basket in the bathroom across from Zoe's room. She returned to the room and went to sit by the vanity mirror that was framed with little light bulbs.

She started moisturizing and braiding her hair as Zoe got off the beanbag and went to stand behind her.

"Hopefully you'll be back home after the weekend," Zoe said to their reflections.

"Yeah."

Zoe twirled around and walked to her wardrobe. She retrieved a small pink square case and set it open on her study desk that was by the window. She took out a smaller bag and shook it. She then poured some white powder on a hand mirror before removing a card to chop the powder.

"Do you want a hit?" Zoe asked behind her as she formed four lines.

Sage looked at Zoe's back as she was bent over her desk. She didn't need to see what she was doing to know what she was offering.

"That's what got me in trouble in the first place," Sage returned her eyes to the mirror as she grabbed a portion of hair on top of her head.

Zoe straightened up and grabbed a short straw. She looked at Sage, "You have nothing to lose. Plus it's Friday," she said pointing the straw at Sage.

Sage did need a pick me up.

"I'll go after you," She closed the moisturizer and massaged her scalp a bit.

Zoe bent over her study desk and snorted.

"Well duh!" Then she snorted again. She pressed her nose before running a finger past her nostrils.

Sage went to wash her hands in the bathroom and returned to the room. She walked over to the desk and bent over. She snorted her first line and it stung. Water formed in her eyes. She then repeated her actions and pinched her nose.

Sage felt a rush and became light-headed for a second. Her nostrils stung, and she could almost taste the powder at the back of her tongue.

"It's been a while," She sniffled walking over to join Zoe on her bed.

"But it feels good right?" Zoe smirked.

Sage laid her head down.

"Naa put on a doek," Zoe smacked Sage's shoulder.

Sage stood up to go get her satin bonnet from her suitcase then she wore it on her head.

"Happy?" She looked at Zoe.

"Mmh," Zoe was now on her phone, tapping on the screen profusely.

"Where's your sister?" Sage got comfortable on the bed and grabbed her phone from the charger on the side table beside her.

"Zee is at work."

Sage had a text from Chelsea which she ignored. She logged onto Instagram instead.
