"Alright bubba..are you ready to say bye?" I crouch down to Cleos level by the front door while Lucas collected his suitcase "I don't want daddy to go mommy..I want him to stay" she mumbled

I nodded, "I know baby, I do too. But I promise next time we see daddy we will go to Texas so you can see his home, it's pretty cool" I smile softly. Her lip trembled softly giving me another nod just in time for Lucas to come over to us

The light grew in her eyes, racing off up the stairs to her bedroom. I sighed, knowing it's my turn to say bye now "d-do you have everything? Passport? Boarding pass? Your phone, walle-" I start to ramble before being cut off by his lips landing on mine

I melted into the kiss, his hands reaching up to cup my face. I let my hands move up to grab his wrists, holding his hands on me longer. A tear leaked from my eye, trailing down my face "don't cry baby..it's only a few weeks.." he mumbled quietly

I nodded, "I-it's just harder now..now that you know about her and you have to go again.." I reply "i know..it was never gonna be easy, but we'll make it work. You know we will" he assured me

I nodded again, leaning up to kiss him again "a-and you will come back? y-you aren't just saying that?" I stutter "of course I am. I'm not leaving you and Cleo. Not now, not ever" he replied, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear

"I love you.." I say quietly, my eyes looking down to the ground "I love you too, Maya..don't ever doubt it" he hugged me tightly as another tear fell from my eye "oh my Lucaya heart!" Riley came down the stairs behind me with Farkle by her side

"See you guys" Lucas smiled, hugging them both "see you..when are you back next?" Farkle asked. Lucas shrugged, "we haven't worked that out yet..a few weeks" he stated "we might go to Texas..Cleo wants to see the horses" I explain

"Well you'll have to let us know..maybe we can meet you there" Riley smiled. I nodded along with Lucas "okay well I better go..bye!" He stated, opening the door to my apartment

Riley and Farkle let out a few un-synchronised byes and see you soon's and have a good flights while I smiled softly, my eyes never leaving him. He mouthed a small 'love you' to me before sending me one last cheeky grin
