All this deadline is breaking my heart
The dawn is looking beautiful
Just like this sad moment, a heartbreaking scene
The gentle caress of the wind
Just like your touch, bringing solace in my misery
The meeting of our eyes, your lips on top of mine
As if committing a sin, it keeps me from my sleep
In this nightmare of mine, I see you walking by my side
Yet when I reached for your hand, I found none
You shouldn't be here in my heart
For all the times that we have spent
I know that you wanted to erase the truth
That we could not be together forever
The moon is shining down at us
What an inviting sight, let us waltz throughout the night
The gentle spatter of the rain
Reminded me of the teardrops when you left that day
Your rueful smile, the sad look in your eyes
The quivering of your lips, the way your voice hitch
As if committing a crime, I can't help but get lost in your warmth
But why when I'm roused by the lights, you were gone
The dam has been broken and there is nothing left of you but our memories
The stars have lost their luster and the nights now sounded lifeless
