Life takes unexpected turns
To give you lemons in return
Never have I ever thought
That I would wish
Not to meet you in life again
Yet it happened
Maybe I asked a lot
'Coz today I heard
You knock
On the door of my heart
I decided it to remain unopened
But I forgot, you have its keys
From the start
You entered uninvited
Just to send me back
To our past
Just to make me think
Of what I lack
You are nothing
But a pain in life
That forces me to ride
On the edge of a knife
With the return
Of sorrow and pain
Those proud statements
Of "Leaving the past behind"
All went in vain
