Remember- Avengers Fanfic

Chapter 5

"What do you mean the incident?" Steve asks.
"Three years ago HYDRA messed with her vocal cords. They didn't think it worked so they just moved on. Then one of their best assassins escaped. She was sent to kill him. After the fifth time they were done. They strapped her down to a table and cut off her leg. They used a hand saw to ensure she suffered. They gave her medication so she didn't pass out. They wanted her to feel everything. Then they hit bone. She screamed and it was anything but normal." Peter said.
"It was ultrasonic." Wanda said. "It killed everyone in the room in an instant. They made sure she couldn't make a noise and finished the job. Then they threatened to cut out her tongue. They made her watch a girls tongue get cut out and she immediately gave up her speech. She learned sign language and morse code. She communicates through that only."
The kids looked around the room. The faces on the adults were all over the place. One guy looked super interested while others looked sad while others looked like they wanted to kill someone.
"She also has other powers." Peter adds.
Bruce notices she's waking up. He sends the kids in to calm her down.
The Girls POV
I wake up and look around the room. I'm hooked up to machines. They are beeping so loud. Then I look over and see Wanda, Pietro and Peter walk in.
"Where am I?" I sign.
"You're safe, Scarlett." Wanda says.
She grabs my hand softly. I flinch a bit but let her.
"Bucky came back for us." Pietro says softly.
"Bucky?" I sign curiously.
"Winter." Peter corrects.
"Really!" I sign excitedly. "Are we finally out of there?"
"Yes. We are staying with Bucky and his family." Peter says.
"Can i see him?" I sign.
"I'll go get him," says Pietro.
I watch him exit the room.
"What did you tell them about me?" I sign.
"We told them about you not talking and your scream. We just said you have other powers." Peter says blankly.
"Thank you. Did you tell them about my healing?" I sign quickly to them.
"No..." Peter says.
"We kinda forgot." Wanda states shyly.
I turn toward the door to see him.
"Bucky?" I sign.
"моя малышка" |My little girl| Bucky says with a smile on his face.
I go to stand up but the wires attached to me prevent me.
"Can I take these out yet?" I sign.
"еще не детка" |Not yet baby| Bucky says as he goes to hug me.
"That's not a very good idea," Wanda says. "Last time we tried. to hug her she stabbed us."
Pietro laughs a bit. "That was because she just woke up from passing out."
I look at him. He looks different. He looks better.
"I missed you." I signed.
"я тоже маленький" |Me too little one| Bucky says.
I look at him and smile.
"Do you think my friend can come check on you? You might get those wires out." He says.
"I guess," I sign.
A man walks in.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Banner. Can i check you?" He says enthusiastically.
"I guess so, I sign reluctantly.
"I guess so," Wanda translates.
-time skip-
"I don't know how you healed so fast but we can get these wires out of you." He says.
He takes out all the wires. I go to stand up but catch myself before I fall.
"Who took my leg?" I sign glaring at Pietro.
"I think Banner took it off to give to Tony to fix." Bucky says.
"Yeah. It's right here." He says handing it to me.
"Thank you." I sign.
