Cassie walks into her apartment when she hears distant noise behind the kitchen area. She grabs a plate, as if that would do anything, and slowly approaches. A figure sat on the couch watching TV. Jeez, got a test it out before you steal it. Cassie is now behind the couch and as she is about smack to them with the plate, the figure turns around. And they both scream.

"AHHHHH!"

Cassie clumsily drops the plate on the figures head before she realises who it is.

"Emily?! What the hell are you doing here?!"
"Wow, what a welcome, is that how you treat your house guests around here?"
"I thought you were a burglar, and how did you get in!"
"I told the front desk I was your sister and they gave me a key."
"Oh wow, that's supposed to make me feel really safe isn't it."
"Will you relax, I'm in town for a couple of weeks and I needed a place to stay I figured you'd be cool with it. I didn't know you'd try to kill me with a plate."
"You could've called or texted or something."
"Okay next time I'll call or text, okay"
"If there is a next time."
"What is your problem, I'm sorry. But it's like you can't stand being around me or something"

Facts 101

"It's not that I can't stand you."

Lie

"It's just sometimes you're a handful"-

Lie, she's always a handful.

"And I have no idea what you're going to do half the time."

That's.... actually, that's true, keep going.

"So I just get paranoid when you're around me."
"Well, you could've just said."
"Anyways, there's a guest bedroom upstairs"-
"No thanks, the couch is my place."
"Fine sleep wherever you want, but please don't disturb me, I've got a lot of work to do."

That's a lie, she has no work to do, she just wants some alone time. She's been demoted, she's been put into a project with a guy who is the complete opposite to her and now her sisters on the couch downstairs. The next day could only get better. That's rhetorical. It will probably get much worse.
