Hey I'm updating again because I'm super bored and I really want to continue with this story! Enjoy

Lisa's POV

I threw myself across the table to try and hug mom.

"How the hell did you get theses!! I thought they were sold out everywhere!" I said staring at the tickets I my hand

"I use to go out with the guy who sold the tickets and I asked him to keep two aside for me. They are the right band, aren't they?" Mom asked continuing to eat her chicken chow mein

"HELL YES! My chemical romance have always been my favourite band!! How do you not know this?!?!" I giggled

"I know, I know"

I looked down at the tickets and felt bad for taking these off her when I know how much she is struggling "Mom, these much have cost you a fortune. I can't -"

"Lisa Roberts, you deserve this. You didn't haven't an 18th party last year and you're stuck here with me when really you should be in university" Mom said

"Mom, I really don't mind helping you" I smiled

"Anyway, that's not all your present. I think you're going to have a heart attack when you see this" She leaned into her bag and handed me these cards that had black necklace attached to them. I took them off her. The card had a plastic cover on it. In red font it said "My Chemical Romance Backstage Pass". The background was black. I looked up feeling my heart racing and my vision going blurry. Suddenly everything went black

I woke up I was on the couch. I heard American Pie was on in the background. I sat up wondering how I got here. Mom noticed I was awake and muted American Pie.

"Honey are you okay?" She said stroking my cheek

"Y-Yeah I'm fine. How did I get here?" I looked confused

"I dragged up from the kitchen table to here. I think you fainted when we had dinner" Mom explained handing me a glass of water

"Oh..Why did I fai-" I looked down and saw the My Chemical Romance backstage passes.

All the good feelings came rushing back that I felt like I did the first time before I fainted. I felt I was the happiest person in the world. Finally I would be able to meet my idols. The ones who saved me so many times. I leaned over and hugged mom. I started sobbing in her shoulder

" Thank You" I sniffed

"Oh honey, You're very welcome" Mom stroked my back

We released and I wiped the tears away. I picked up my presents and put them somewhere I wouldn't lose them.

"You want to watch the rest of American Pie with me?" Mom smiled

"Mom, we've seen this movie a million times"

"I know, but it gets funnier every time I see it" Mom giggled turning up the volume on the TV.

"Okay" I said getting some junk food from the kitchen and sitting close to mom.

The next three weeks went so slow I thought I was never going to the concert. I got an app on my phone to count down the weeks, days, hours and seconds to the concert. Checking it every day to see how much longer I would have to wait. I rang Poppy telling her what my mom got me for my birthday and asking her if she wanted to come. She nearly made me deaf as she screamed with excitement on the phone.

It finally came. It was 4pm and Poppy and I are getting ready. Not like I was going to change what I wear usually. We basically spend our time getting ready by blaring My Chemical Romance on my speakers and jumping around like two maniacs who deserve to be in the mental hospital.

"Girls, it's time to go. If you want to get there early" Mom shouted into us.

We raced down to the car waiting for mom to lock the apartment. I could feel my heart beating in my ears, my hands were sweating and I was shaking. I looked over at Poppy who was picking at her nails. She was nervous and I was too. Mom finally got in the car and handed me a card. I looked at it. It was mom's business card for the art shop.

"Why you giving me this?" I asked trying to hand it back to her

"Well I thought Gerard, that's the singers name isn't it?" We nodded in response. "I thought that you would give him my business card. He's an artist and maybe he would like to drop by sometime" Mom smiled reversing the car.

"Mom, this is Gerard Way we are talking about. He not like a post man or local celebrity he's worldwide famous. I doubt he would want to go into our shop to look around" I shook my head in disbelief.

"You never know" Mom looked at us through the rear view mirror

I shoved the card in my pocket with my phone. I looked at the clock in the car and realize that this will probably be one of the best night of my life .
