(Unknown place)

Two army officers were walking through the army cantonment area & were talking to each other.
Officer 1- Vikram-Betaal ki koi khabar?

Officer 2- Filhaal toh dono thik hai aur terrorists ka mukabla bhi kar rahe hai... Aage ka pata nahi!

Off.1- (smirking) Yeah right!! Dushmano se zyada toh dono ko ek dusre se khatra hai...

Off.2- Kya lagta hai dono bina lade mission pura kar payenge?

Off.1- Ladai ka toh pata nahi... But I'm damm sure that they'll complete the mission without any casualty!!

Off.2- Hopefully!!
He saw something & halted all of sudden. The other officer walked few steps ahead when he noticed the absence of the latter, so he went back to him who was busy, looking at something keenly.

Off.1- Kya hua?

Off.2- (pointing in the direction where a girl was practicing martial arts) Yaar! Kya ye 6 months ki trainning ko 6 hours me complete karna chahti hai?

Off.1- (jokingly) Agar ye possible hota toh haan..

Off.2- Isko thakaan mehsoos nahi hoti kya... Kis mitti ki bani hai ye?

Off.1- (shrugging off his shoulders) God knows!!

Off.2- Don't you think it's strange?
Off.1- (promptly) Nope!! Meri life me sare ajeeb log hi bhare pade hai including you too...

Off.2- (irritatingly) Ha! Ha! Very funny!! But for now kindly send her to her room otherwise...
He did what's said.

Next morning...

Gunny woke up with a heavy head & felt like his head is spinning & had severe headache too. He was about to stand up when he saw that Abhi was sleeping soundly on the floor & he would have probably stepped on his face.
He immediately pulled off his step back & tried to wake him.

Gunny- Abhi! Abhi!

Abhi- (in sleepy voice) hmmm....

Gunny- Uthiye! Yaha carpet par kyu soye hue hai, Barmer ke raja ko ye sab sobha deta hai?

Abhi- (little irritated) Please Gunny! Humara desh me democracy hai yaha sab log equal hai... Kya raja kya fakir.. Hume toh pahado par bhi sone ki aadat hai ye toh phir bhi carpet hai... Sone dijiye hume....

Gunny- Ok fine!! Par time dekha hai... kitna late ho gaya hai? Barmer jana hai ya mai wapas KMA laut jau? (Pressing his head) Waise bhi mera sarr bahut dard kar raha hai....

Abhi recalled their last night conversation & woke up with a jerk & looked around to found himself in the room. He thought to himself "hum toh garden me the... Yaha kaise aa gaye?"

Then he saw Gunny sitting with his head bowed down, Abhi (mummers)- Itna jada drink karne ke baad toh ye hona hi tha.

Gunny- Huh!.. kuch kaha aapne?

Abhi- Nahi... Wo hum keh rahe the ki aapko hangover hua hai, kal raat aapne kuch jyada hi......
(Gunny gave him a shocked look)
Drink kar liya tha.... Koi baat nahi.... Hum abhi nimbu pani order karte hai. You'll feel better.

After 1 hr, they continued their journey. Both were silent. Abhi thought not to asked anything about last night events. He believed that when right time come, everything would be clear on the other side Gunny couldn't remember anything about last night & had mild headache, so he also remained quiet.
