Chapter 19: whop there it is!

 

 

 

 

                “No I screamed. My heart was pounding I thought I was going to throw up. “Let them go.” I had to bite my lip from having tears fall over my checks.

                “What?” Damen said raising his eye brows with an amused grin on his ugly lips.

                “I said no. I have been through hell and back,” I growled. “You don’t want to mess with me.” he laughed right in my face. That drew the line I have had enough of him, of my dad. I drew my arm back and threw my fist right into him nose hearing a cracking noise.

                “Whoop there it is!” I yelled at him.

                “You bitch!” Damen yelled wiping the blood off his face.

                “Your words don’t hurt me, like I said I have been through hell and back.” I glared him down. I have no clue what was happening to me but I loved every moment of it. I felt like something was waking up inside me and it felt amazing.

                “That’s it,” he told me.

                “What you gonna hit a girl? I bet that’s why your mate slept with Dylan. I mean no girl want to be with a guy who hits girls.” He stood there frozen in his spot looking at me with wide eyes.

                “H-how d-d-did y-ou know,” He barley got out.  

                “The power of being a girl. Now would you let them go?” I asked him my eyes begging.

                He started into my eyes which felt like I went to Mars and back before he swolled and said, “For you. Boys let them go.” He was still staring at me with sad eyes.

                “Thank you,” I whispered and gave him a hug. “If you ever need anyone I’m here for you.”

                The ride back to house was quiet. Damen got us a taxi. A song was playing on the radio and I hummed to it. (long Distance by Megan and liz)

I never meant to get attached to you

The day we met - I still hold onto

It was out of the blue

And we locked eyes, by the stereo

I almost wish we didn't meet

It's not enough to keep a romance sweet

I should have thought of you as just a friend

But now you're got me right until the end

But it makes a good story anyway

All the memories created in one day

I guess they found a place to stay

So we're keeping up with this phone tag

Missing messages and signs that we're not okay

Just pretend you feel the same

                The words spoke to me the melody. I am in love with this song. I peeked a look at Dylan and saw him looking at me with a smile playing on his beautiful lips.  

                “What?” I asked with raised eye brows.

                “You’re so pretty you know that Val?” He asked looking me straight in my eyes.  I looked own avoiding his eyes.  “Brave, strong, can go through anything, be there for anyone, and all mine.” I blushed at the end.

                “Ya and your all mine!” I told him before turning his head and pushed my lips to his. I felt bliss, kissing him is the most amazing feeling there can ever be in the world.

                “Ok love birds! Hate to break it up but ya should go to bed you got school tomorrow,” my future mother in law said with a huge smile on her lips.
